Sorry I haven't been following, if somebody can post what the title should read, we will change it.

Thanks

Here is the bulletin printout I have through my Infiniti account:

NOTE: NO UPDATE IS AVAILABLE FOR THE FX50 and 2012 FX35

Damn the tech at my local dealership is sooo stupid, I found that he actually used the g37 harsh downshift bulletin itb10-075 to update my car's ecu and tcu. all though both bulletins share the same OP CODE but the fx35 bulletin has a SYM of BE and the g37 bulletin's SYM is ZE, and tech typed DX32AA 0.8 hrs ZE 32 on my invoice. The car doesnt downshift hard no more, but whenever i am stopping on hills the rpm drops to 500 and jump back to 650 which gives me strong vibration. Can they even install g37's ecu and tcu on FX35?

just got my ecu and tcu updated, and all i can say is what a great improvement!!!! if you havnt done so already go get it done

I still feel the jerks during downshift on my 2010 FX35 AWD even after this TSB. I am thinking about contacting better business bureau or small claims court. Don't want to deal with after warranty support through the dealer.

That sucks maybe they did something wrong because I had this done and probably put over 3K miles on my car since this update and it solved all of the issues I was having including the hash jerky downshifts, lagging, and acceleration issues. I'm not experiencing anymore of that.

And you guys know how I was a big hater on the software programming issues for this transmission.

I just had this Service Bulletin applied and definitely notice the transmission to be more responsive. The lags are gone when wanting to accelerate and the downshifts when slowing down are smoother.

Basically the dealer won't even mention this fix if you don't mention it to be a problem. This should have been a recall but since its not safety related it isn't. I'm curious as to whether the 2013 FXs have this transmission software from the factory.

That is true, I have talked to a couple Dealers and they only do the vehicles whose owners complain of problems. This applies to most service bulletins.

Not only if you complain. You could complain and they still wouldnt do it because when they hook it up to the computer, they will also run your VIN number first to see if it falls under the list to apply for the bulletin.

And still nothing has been mentioned for the 2012 FX35s either right?

Nope sorry. Maybe in a few months

Just got this done today and wow is it a difference. I would recommend anyone who has the slightest issue to go get it checked. I can still feel it shifting very slightly but its a lot better then from before.

Hi guys, new to the forum and trying to get involved. I also had my transmission and ECU updated at Sawgrass infiniti and it was a HUGE difference. I have a 2011 FX35 RWD and it was laggy/sluggish on shifts and the downshitfting to a stop was like a bucking bronco! Complaint at delaership and I could not be happier with the new update. I took it in maybe a month back and it has nothing but gotten better (guess its learned my "spirited" driving style =D)

My 2009 FX35 is getting done Saturday. I'm out of warranty and they wanted to charge $270 USD but I complained and got the price down. I'm very curious after reading the posts here. I hope it's as good as I expect. Thanks much, Fire0nic3FX, for posting the service bulletin!
