2009-2011 Infiniti FX35 Shift Responsiveness Issues (Brand New Update #3)

Can you provide an update on how the TSB has worked over the last month? I'm headed in for service soon and plan on requesting it on my 2010 FX35. Every now and then I have a huge hesitation where nothing happens when hitting the gas and then it catches up and launches sometimes making a big clunking noise when it catches!

+1
i have same problem on 2010 fx35

UPDATE:

300+ miles on this new update and I love it. I finally can enjoy driving my FX in stop and go traffic and not fear for my life when changing lanes. I'm amazed at the throttle response now it feels like a different car.

I recommend everyone to go and get this update done :)

bro, at which dealer u got it done?

I wish there was a TSB for the 1st gen's odd shifting from 2nd to 3rd

Sent from my SGH-T999 2

Does the vehicle still need to be under factory warranty to apply this TSB? I'm at 66k but I have the extended warranty to 100k. Dealer just called back and left a message about how since it's over 60k, I'll have to pay for this. Seems odd to me I should pay when it's a TSB.

Seems like the extended warranty to 100k only covers parts and since this SW update requires no parts they want to hold me responsible for the labor. Does that sound reasonable to you guys? Really want to fix this after sitting through 5 hrs of vegas stop n go.

Da fuq TSB's are covered under the extended warranty too. It's part of the powertrain warranty. I they refuse to use your extended warranty I would either take it somewhere else or demand a refund on the warranty if they aren't going to let you use it.

I also feel a lag around 2nd-3rd gear. It feels like its thinking about which gear it wants to engage next. I have the 2013 with only 950miles so far. Owned it for only a month now.

I'd have to schedule a pickup/loaner since my dealer's service covers up to 40miles for pick up of my vehicle and drop off of the loaner. maybe i'll just drive it in on saturday and see what's up.
