I’m dealing with an Infiniti QX55 2023g (Canada) and ran into an unusual situation.
Codes present:
TRANSMISSION (TCM)- P272A-00 Motor A.
SHIFT Mdule - P272A-00 T/M range select motor
Important part:
The vehicle has absolutely NO symptoms.
- Engine starts normally
- Car drives perfectly
- All gears engage correctly (P / R / N / D)
- No hesitation, no slipping
- No warning lights affecting drivability
- No codes in ECM
The codes can be cleared, but they return immediately...

Today, cleaned the k&n cone filter then reoiled it. Worried about overoiling but no CEL so far. Made a big difference, as the filter was extremely dirtyyyyyyy (like completely black)

I am looking to purchase some new wiper blades for the FX, I used to have Bosch ICONS on all of my cars, and I would get an inch or two bigger to maximize coverage. So I was wondering if anyone had tried 22" on the passenger side along with 24" for driver side on the FX? I just wanted to double check before I order them online.
Also, has anyone tired Trico Neoforms on the FX? What are your opinions/impressions...

My BC coils have arrived for my 2nd gen RWD. I am planning to install them this weekend but I got confused a bit.
I understand that the rear strut and spring for our cars are seperated. i have only installed coilovers on 2 cars that had the coilovers in one piece all around. To adjust the front is straight forward to me. top 2 rings for preload and bottom ring for height. Has anyone ever used this carbon fiber vinyl? One of my friends with an M3 just got his done and it looks real and has the texture of dry carbon fiber. He had it done by this guy.

I think I'm going to disable the "intelligent" (stupid) alternator charging system on my 2011 FX50, but I wanted to run it by everyone here in case they have any insight.
The intelligent charging isn't explicitly spelled out anywhere from what I can find, but the general consensus of how it generally operates on other Infinitis/Nissans is that the ECU tells the alternator when and how much to charge, as opposed to letting it just charge all the time, in an effort to improve fuel economy...
I had a 2008 fx35 and figured out how to turn off the automatic seat retract and steering wheel lift when you turn off the car, but I don't remember what I did. How do I turn it off on my 2012?

So I installed my 2nd set of front rotors on my FX tonight and just like the 1st set, they're either warping way too quick or something else is wrong with my braking system. 1st time around, I installed a set of new drilled/slotted front rotors with OEM pads.
