I've been thinking of ways to get this kind of look without the extreme amount of work that it takes to rebuild the whole housing & putting 2 full projector assemblies in.... I've also been thinking of a way to do this headlight bezel work without the amount of fabrication this one took... I have a few ideas now of how to build some custom lights that are no where near as intense to build as these but also have a nice custom look to them....

when I finish these lights I'll build another "light version" of these that are kind of similar, they won't have dual bi-zenon articulating projectors in each, but will still look very custom compared to the stockers... if I can come up with a plan that is much lighter on the labor end then I may be able to offer a few headlights for sale.... not exactly like these though, but similar effect.... not going to do much there though until I get a bunch of other stuff done first, eventually though.... I really like this reverse halo look

btw, this reverse halo effect will work on any FX headlight... sure it'll only be a single, but still an alternative to the angel eyes at least for some maybe...

also, I did my new grille, I'm guessing many have seen the thread I put up but I'm adding a few pictures here to be part of my fx thread, for those that haven't seen it, this is a QX56 grille merged with an FX grille, center bars painted black hope no one gets tired of all my pictures:err: now I can't wait to get the lights on too & have the look all come togeather...

The grill came out great, although I think the belt buckle is a tad big for my tastes. The H/Ls are the bomb. I'm in line for that too.

well I got the headlights in...the painting of the led bezels turned into a huge pain in the ass so I haven't finished them yet, but the radiator support is modded & the dual projectors are in & working perfect... there naked with no bezels but sealed with new lenses, when the bezels are done I'll pop them in.the alignment of the projectors came out perfect... the light output is fantastic, double in every sense of the word... I like it so bright, yet the cut off points are so nice that they don't blind anyone, but they light up the road like sick bright... they'll look nicer when the bezel goes in... I went on a little picture taking spree

I'm thinking about switching to the fx emblem, it looks good with that too, this does seem a little big sometimes... half the time I like it & half the time I don't...

I've got it set up right now that the 2 lights just work togeather, both do low beam & both switch to high beam... both of course raise & lower from the dash knob togeather. when the leds go in I'll play with one on & one of to see how they look with the leds...
