GT Spec Suspension Bracing

Thanks Will for giving me the info. I don't think the nismo store is open on weekends from what there web page states, Store Hours:M-F 7:00AM-7:00PM Pacific Standard Time. Most likely I'll try on Monday since I have the day off.

shoot up there on Monday - the guy there was looking at me crazy cuz he knew I was gonna put it on an FX and I had to explain to him what we were goin to do. He kept telling me that its not gonna clear my exhaust unless I had a true dual - and I had to tell him that It will work - hahahaha

Alright, finally had a quite Saturday for some one on one FX time. Took some pictures of the GT Spec rear brace in black powder coat finish. I'm also going to try and do the front brace soon so stay tuned for that.

Now I really cant wait to get mine done - just need to find some time to get out to the southbay.....:frown:

I actually want people to see it so I was thinking a bright color.

im down!!! but we might have to get 2 different sets made. one for stock and another for the guys the have the Nismo exhuast because of the piping size difference

I might be wrong, but could we just do one for the NISMO exhaust and it would still fit the stock's smaller piping? That way us 'stockers' (no pun intended) could keep them when we upgrade the exhaust.

Ahhh... this is what I've been meaning to ask...

I posted my thoughts on that thread Dave. But, so far the rear of the FX feels much more solid with alot less wobbling and top heavy feeling when cornering. Even in straight line the rear feels less bouncy and stiffer. Got to try the front braces now cuz I want that same rear feeling in the front.[/QUOTE]

Why isnt there anything for the front? Or will it fit? It just seems like we now have 3 bars for the back and only one up front. I dono...

GT Spec does make a front brace for the 350Z but not sure if that will mount up. I believe someone is looking into that already......

Keemo and Brown: looks like we've found our solution...just get the braces made for the Nismo piping which is 3" i believe and when someone wants to upgrade their exhaust it would just bolt right up:cool:
