GT Spec Suspension Bracing

Hopefully they take into concideration the fact that some fxes are AWD. Thank for offering yourself to go for the test fit if there is no one else around.

If it fit a AWD I'll def fit a RWD FX... So mine is a AWD and so is John's so If iether of us go for a test fit we'll be good.. I will also bring this important point to Ken(GTspec).

Which two braces are being pictured in black powder coating? Is it just a rear lateral, and tie rod for a G35?

Do you know the exact measurements, and if so would you be willing to get a set all mocked up for my 08 fx? all I needs is a paypal account. Thanks in advance.

Sorry not sure what you're referring to...the GT Spec braces are not black, they are a greenish/blue metallic color

There are no plans at this time to make them for the later FX's (if there are differences at all - I'm not sure if they are different). If there is sufficient demand it may be a possibility, but as of now, there are no plans

Are there two Widebodies?

That would be a first on AV usage . . OMG, we have a fan

Sorry guys, I am a fan, GTO my bad. Didnt mean to Infringe. Your ride is proper, and I meant no disrespect. And yeah I am new, this is the very first pic of a fx that I downloaded before even brought my 08. Its practically the reason i got mine.

not to mention I have yet to take any pics of mine yet.

It's really no big deal buddy. Like you, we all admire Viet's ride.
Though you should post your ride up so we can see what you got.

diggin up the dead. Has anyone found out if the full line of gt spec bracing will fit AWD models??

They will. As long as it's for FX. But if you have after market cat-back, such as Stillen, you will need to modify the piping a bit. The rear lateral kind of got in the way of one of the stillen pipe.

Hey guys,

Now my question maybe only concerns those driving both the GT Spec braces and a Coilover kit as they probably have driven both set-ups......with oem schocks and Lowering springs and with the coilover kit.
What's my deal......i'm now driving with the full SUMMIT/GTSPEC set-up. Don't have the mid brace yet but that is on it's way.
I have Non Sport OEM struts with H&R Springs and 22" wheels. But lately i noticed my car is feeling quit nervous in stability. Hard to explain though but when i drive over a hard ridge in the road it feels like the body shell isn't communicating with the floor/wheels/suspension.
Feels a bit like those dolls with these wobbely heads.
I was thinking it would might be the schocks wich were too weak in dampening compared to the stifness of the rest of the body with all the struts on.

NOW i took out the front upper strut and Front lower strut for paint and i do feel a positive effect i honestly must say. Car isn't that stiff and mostly not that nervous. Now i sell this stuff so i know you can expect stiffnes that i don't mind but can it be just to stiff...??
Also cornering and those ridges are all far more soft then it was.....didn't try any hard cornering yet to messure any difference in that.
Now don't get me wrong i'm pro these things......but i realy had the feeling some of my bushings were gone.
I'm still in the market for a coilover kit in time but did that make it any better is the question for coilover drivers...??
By the way i have a RWD wich also seems to make a difference as i drove a AWD last week and felt more stable also.

Any ideas...??
