GT Spec Suspension Bracing

I may be reading this wrong, Kenny may be talking about getting bars for us to chop up thru GB pricing.
 
Lets see what Kenny can come up for you guys that want to do this mod.

Keemo, I will be looking into doing the front so will update once researched and results in hand.
 
"GTSPEC rear lower tie brace for 350Z and G35. Increase your subframe rigidity. Constructed of air craft grade 6061 aluminum with triple internal wall for maximum rigidity."

Pierce or Rookie - when you cut the bar, is it hollow? I'm trying to grasp what the triple internal wall means. Does it means it's hollow but has "three" walls?

yup but also i'm doing a lot of R&D with GT Spec right now. I extended my '06 FX35 so i'll test parts on that and work to see if they're exact fits on the '07 FX45's as well. i dont think it'll make any differenc but i rather give them the exact specs and so forth. no pics can be released yet but the prototype parts right now look amazing in quality. will get them installed later

The GT Spec stock is hollow with 3 walls in the tube. If you notice the orientation of the stock on the different bars they are positioned to provide the most support and are the hardest positions for the bars to be twisted. Most suspension stuff like this out there is hollow with internal walls for support.

The key is the orientation of the stock (bars) to resist against twisting, while remaining as light as possible.

i have a minor modded exhaust and the LMS intake in which does scream but doesn't fit right.... i've had some nice kills -- this would've been a lot better on my turbo G but it gets enough attention from everyone

Received the GT Spec Front Tie brace today. Have an appointment with TS on the 26th to have this done like the rears. Can't do it any sooner with the holidays. Also, gonna get a more aggressive custom tune while I'm at it. Will post results when its all finished.
 
I really don't kow how this is going to work out for me since I have a Dual Stillen Exhaust...

The GT Spec Bracing is good for the general FX layout of one single exhaust pipe to the muffler...

I will take Pierce for example

Viet's Exhaust is similar to my Dual Exahust Layout...

I just don't know if it will work out for me. will have to mod my current Exhaust to get this mod done? Don't know if it will be really worth it..?

Here is my Layout....Not enough Space to bring the exhaust extention up to clear the brace...(I think)

Dude, yours is the easiest to do. It would not need to arch down to clear a pipe, you could go almost straight across.

How strong if the Piece where you can bend it into shape. You need to tell me where this can be done then.

Looking at it again. I think your right. I just need to see it in person and compare it to my layout. I can see that it's adjecent to the rear sway bar but my Dual exhaust does not shoot out as evenly as your layout Viet.

Can you point this out for me... ?

You shouldnt have any issues Bert.
The Nismo guys will have to arch it a bit to clear the 3 inch pipe.
But TS will take care of that.
 
You will not have any worries Humberto. Like Viet said, you will not even have to bend the lateral brace to clear the mid-pipe like the nismo guys.

Hahah I though you said how strong is Pierce - meaning he was strong enough to bend it. You and all you "guns" talk has got me reading between the lines - eh it's too early.
