K&N Drop in with the LMS Z Tube
Cone filter + venturi ring is probably the reason you get the whizzing sound.Sounds like it could be in combination with the stillen venturi ring to get the cool ass sound. What are running at the front?
ShadyJC said:My baseline dyno (my engine mods were a 1/2" Motordyne plenum spacer, a K&N filter and a Borla muffler in the exhaust) read as follows - max HP 228, max TQ 214.
With the test intake tube going back to the stock box, the dyno reads as follows - max HP 231 (+3 over baseline), max TQ 216 (+2 over baseline).
With the test "cold air" intake, the dyno reads as follows - max HP 235 (+7 over baseline), max TQ 221 (+7 over baseline).
i think so...its only a bill it can be an early christmas gift to myself lol...why did you have to cut your tube, what didnt fit?are you sure?
Ok. TBS installed....noticible gain?...ah...hard to tell...might have added 3~4hp didn't notice difference in sound either...will drive around more at night if I can feel/hear the difference.![]()
if you really think about it, it shouldn't do a thing.
you might need a tune afterwards because it messes with the A/F ratio...you may or may not need to cut your tube (Will had to cut his pretty LMS tube)
You might want to hit up lebron23 also - he has one and I think hes parting out his fx
o0o word? thanks for the heads up pscilne!
do you think this is worth the <$100? ahah
