trademark?:laugh: I guess people can call them whatever they want, I just picked demon as the opposite of angel..., my first thought was devil eyes or evil eyes... it's like a sinister glow...

I would def have them on a seperate switch, but it's not like a bright red light, it's just a glow... I wouldn't worry too much about cops... we'll see :tongue: maybe I could also add some yellow leds to make it orange... like an amber glow.... that would be pretty legal I guess, but I think I like the red

dave, those right now are just cutting out all the recesses that the oe tailight has, those slots are what's left. all these tailights have slots like this, but there filled with a cone for each led, look inside a tailight & you'll see what I mean. to do anything else I'll have to build my own bezel which is what I'll probably wind up doing. I want to play with round shapes maybe... not too sure what I want, might just look good just all stock bezel but gloss black, that would be simple & might be enough to set it apart but not look tacky ...

what kind of glue will you be using to glue your taillights back together? Some good ol epoxy? I'm thinking about tearing mine apart to paint the chrome black.

shralp, epoxies could do the job, or even a urethane bead, but it would have to at least be tacked it place first, because it's cut with a blade there needs to be a gap the width of the cut maintained when reassembled or the lense would be sunk in too much

I'm thinking of going a different way with the tailights, I' thinking of going with round light modules, kinda matching the headlights... I'm thinking maybe something similar to the newer altima tailights & , a larger round red light for tail/brake, & maybe a smaller disc for a bright amber turn blinker... hard to discribe, but heres a few shots of a vague idea of what I mean... I will also use the current reverse light as tail lights too, so it will look like 2 round lights on either side, with a third amber for turn...

heres a few shots of the cuts necissary to open a tailight, you can't open at the factory glued seem, it isvisable through the lense, you have to cut behind it...

I finally finished the headlight buckets & mounted the projectors & electronics, all thats left is finishing the cosmetics now of the bezels & paint & install, may also install the red leds too .

wow you keep coming up with more stuff. What's next? Heads up display? Front Night Vision like those on Caddy's?

Can't wait to see what you do in the performance department.

BTW - are those rims forged? I like the look, very different styling.
