i will do that i think :iS: has gather many more members since the last GB for this Mod.. hopefully there will be more people willing to get this, so we could be able to make another GB.

no, pretty stock on the outside...sleeper. I just painted a set of BBS rims that will be going on soon. Interior is upgraded with some goodies.

Do you guys think the mid chasis brace would fit the FX? I know our suspension is spaced wider than the Z but how about the middle chasis? As far as I know, it'd be the same since they wouldn't widen the chasis from 350Z to FX.

one of these was for sale locally for $75 because it had been scratched up. i coulda at least tested it for fitment. :frown:

I'm such a fan of the bracing that if they made that too, I'd buy it. For 75, it couldnt hurt to try. Let us know.

I believe the one for $75 is already gone. There are several of these braces on the web and the cheapest I could find was for $270.
 
I asked a vendor for the distance between the front & rear two bolt holes. If he replies and if it's close to what I'll measure, I'll get one and try it out.
 
have you thought about going to a local shop and just going under the FX and seeing if it will fit? or we could get some underbody shots and compare it to the pic above.

The dimensions needs to be exactly the same. I don't need to go to a shop to measure it, I have ramps so I can get under it easily. The only issue is if the distance between the bolts holes on the brace are the same as the holes in our chasis. I believe this brace mounts up to the two points you see next the the y-pipe arms and two more on the black shields you see blow:

Would GTSPEC know? I would think they looked into it as an option when JC was in the air. Wanna call them?
 
Just called Z1 to ask for my missing rivet and asked about the mid chasis brace as well. The guy over there (Alan?) said that he's 95% sure that it'd not fit. Still, I think it'd be nice to know the dimensions. Maybe if we can call GTSpec directly to ask for the dimensions?

edit: contacted GTSpec. Ken will send me the measurements today hopefully..

Anybody has access to their FX now? Dimensions are below:
The 2 rear mounting points from side to side is 34.5”, 2 front mounting points is 34” from side to side and distance between front and rear mounting points is 28.5” for both sides.
