GT Spec Suspension Bracing

Not really a do it yourself? The brace should be professionally installed and uninstalled for every oil change? Or is there some space to remove the under cover for oil changes?

That one in the pic should be rear part of the undercover. Front part needs to be removed for oil changes..

EG3's right .. there's 2 covers underneath our FX's. The one pictured is the rear one and it does not affect anything if you do an oil change. They gave me the option to remove that particualr cover but I opted to leave it on.

Nice job, JC! Can't wait to hear how it drives with the braces.

I was testing it out the same day after I left GT Spec and it's a winding road going in and out of GT Spec so I was able to push it a little and the front end seems tight, a lot less body roll.

Very nice JC!

Thanks Doc .. I know I might sound like I work for GT Spec by saying these bars really made a difference in handling, but it really does. I'm waiting for GT Spec to let me know when they get the rear bars in stock so I can really know how much I can push my FX. The front end handling is unbelievable and I cant wait till I have the full set installed.

I can believe it! After I had the rears done I had the same reaction as you so I'm sure the fronts are just as good.

i really wanna get these now, and i will pretty much have all the handling mods. i never thought i would have so much handling but no power, although i may just save up for FI, like all the guys on my350z said they wish they had done.

after months of having it installed since I was the first guinea pig, it definitely makes the handling 10x better. i checked all the bolts again and no issues what so-ever.

sounds good.
I wonder why they had JC goto GTspec and test fit the pieces also? Do you have any pics?

GT Spec used my FX45 for test fit the parts. I told them some pieces might be different for the FX35's so I told them to make sure when the production pieces came out. I had all the GT Spec parts on my FX since early this year and gave my feedback on handling/upgrades/etc. There was an issue with a few pieces with the wrong bolt sizes and fitment w/ the engine cover. GT-Spec is one of the best companies to do R&D for.

All the pics on their site w/ the Autumn Copper FX are from my '07 FX45. I'll take some more shots when I get it on the lift for my next oil change

Yay!

Looks like I'l be receiving the rear GTSPEC bars next Monday... I should order my rear Sway bar now from Joe @ Infinitipartsusa.com

Can't wait to feel the difference everybody that has them has noticed.

Kenny, do you also have the 4 point brace and the front lower tie brace?

got them on friday and installed today. Really easy to do (see fxlr8's DIY )
Lucky I followed the DIY, the washers did move a little (used a sharpy to mark it) so I just rotated it back to normal.

Haven't had a chance to "drive" it hard, but initial feelings are good.

Just don't understand why in this "Internet age " a consumer has to wait for manufacturing to "make" it and have the consumer wait over 1 month to receive it. (i know why it took so long, but WHY?:err::rofl:

Christmas came early this year and it was today.

Got a huge package with 4 braces and a strut bar from GTSPEC. Another pack with HID fogs in it. And another with Angel Eyes. And another with the gift from Z1. Plus, the Samco Radiator hoses that arrived last week. HO HO HO...

Looks to be a busy weekend for me.

have some good quality time with her (FX)

 I spent some time w/ my rims, will post pics soon. Also installed the rear GTSPEC braces that came in last week. Just wondering if I want to get my UR pulley installed before the dyno day or wait and installed it anytime before I get a TS flash. I think I just answered my own question:bigsmile: thanks
