FX Rear toe and camber kits.

Sorry to resurrect this thread from the dead but I just got MEGAN coil overs and my camber is out on my rears... fronts are fine... toe and everything else is still fine... from what I gather, I will need:

2x #72055
1x #72265

Is this correct? Can I still buy these parts? Their website works but when I try to buy it, the "store" page can't open...

Also, are there any better parts than this now?

Ok updat for anyone who is still interested in buying these.
So i ordered 2 sets of the 5.72055K and 2 sets of the 5.72265K.

I think they revised this items as the 72265 sets i received also contained all the neccesary parts needed to mount it. So complete kits :err:

Talking about trowing away money :confused:

So do not make the same mistake as i do and check first when ordering :tup:

hahah, that sucks. I've been confused from the start on this and STILL am. :rofl:

ha, I ordered 2 sets of each kit myself a long time ago & the funny thing is I never even needed to use any of them because I winded up modding the suspension itself, so I still to this day am not sure how this really works out. from what I remember I think one kit had the correct length bolts but the wrong nut/cam/washers or something, the second kit was necessary to get the parts that are wrong in that kit I think?

Pitty......if i knew i would have taken them off your hand. Make a list of all the parts you have and don't need.....i'll look into them and lett you know :laugh:

* Caddilac
* 3 engines
* 3 tranny's
* 26 miljoen headlights

:tongue (2):

Just got mine in... looks like the 72265 is a full kit with 2 long bolts and all the washers and nuts... seems just like the 72055 but longer by about 10mm... if I read everything properly, I assume I can use the 72055 for the toe and the longer 72265 for the camber... I have in-laws coming next week from Taiwan so I won't be able to do the work till the week after... I'll report what was needed and what wasn't when I'm done... so far, it looks like all you'll need is 1x 72055 (2x bolts and hardware for toe) and 1x 72265 (2x bolts and hardware for camber)...

This thread is pretty old but are there actual rear camber kits out there for the fx's now? I've had mine in and out of garages for the past 2 years and none of them have been able to get the camber to spec when aligning. It's always within a degree or so and I need a kit to fix the problem. If you don't know of anyone who sells them do you still sell the modded ones? Thanks ahead of time for any info anyone might have to help me out.

See this is your first post and you are new here.....welcome..!! All these treads concern the FX so a advice to you is to read as much as possible. Lot of intell here wich helped me out a lot as well.
The 72265 kit would do the trick for you....good luck...:tup:

Finally! Someone is trying this out and reporting back.:tup:

Thanks for the info guys. I should have definitely read a bit more of the prior posts before asking. I feel a little durr now haha. I'm still a little nervous about putting the 72265 and 72055 kits on. Seems like they would have it jotted down somewhere that it'll work with an AWD 06' FX35. If it works though I'll definitely get them and give it a go. So will I need 1x 72055 and 1x 72265 per wheel or will that take care of both?

The 72265 Kit contains 4 bolts so 2 for each side and is the only kit you would need IMO. One for the Camber and One for the Toe.

See attached picture.

Chedman....i'm sorry i also noticed i did not got back on this anymore. Had the intell but kinda forgot :wub:

For anyone in Europe who is interested in this i still have 1 kit of the 72265 and 2 kits of the 72055.
Coming to sema end of the year also so could bring them along to the US as well for the patient onces :laugh:

Just got in 4 72265's. I'm having a local garage put them on for lack of time on my part and they're going to align it for free after the fact. Anything I should know or let them know before they get under there and put this kit on? Does something need to be modded or can they just pop the new bolts on no big?

and I've found information on a place that does custom camber kits/control arms/etc for lowriders, track cars, etc.
Here's the thread that I found it in
http://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension/473305-custom-camber-kit-4.html
Post 50...And here's the information on the place:

Apparently you jsut need to send measurements and they do the rest ;)
Maybe someone with a second gen in AZ can stop by for measurements?:tup:

Not hard, there is some enlarging that needs to be done. It is on the aluminum subframe. They provide a template to guide you on how much to remove. A rat tail file works, but a dremel is much faster.
