FX Rear toe and camber kits.

Da, spring bucket is toe, I believe, although that's opposite of what Viet's picture early in this thread said.

At this point the more I read the more confusing it becomes.. At this point I already bought the damn thing so well see when it gets here.. If worst comes to worst I'll just use the bolt kit which I bought earlier along and slot it

Yeah, read through this whole thread last night, and it seemed to make sense. Then I started readin elsewhere and it wasn't adding up. Hopefully if they don't fit you can easily return them, and it's no loss to you. I really hope you can just hold them up to OEM and see without having to even take anything apart. You should end up fine with the bolts and slotting though, although a camber arm is better.

Which bolt kit did you get?

It wasn't the spc, it was a bolt kit around $40 with the same adjustment as the spc kit

Kinetix arms do not have anywhere to bolt the shock as they are designed for a Z or G where the shock bolts to the top of the spindal

I think I'm just going to call SPC and call the local shop tomorrow, then order either 1 or 2 of the 72265 kits depending on if I'll need toe adjustment also.

I still have a couple of kits in stock wich i over ordered from them. As them a quote and pm me their price. I might just be able to meet their price even with the shipping from holland. I'm never selling these here in my country so maybe this way. Win win for everyone ;-)

I found them for ~$37.50 each after taxes, would get here Wednesday.

I decided to just get two of the 72265 kits, will install them myself then take it for an alignment. Never got any response here, but talked with a Z friend and he thought that was the best plan also. That's what SPC lists for both rear camber and toe, also.

This is true coilover setup on a 350Z. The coil has to sit "over" the shock. Advantages are that the suspension pieces are in line and the spring rate can be better tuned vs. having the spring sit inboard and separate from the shock. Notice the spring bucket is gone.

Just make sure you shave to the inside only. Here's the good DIY: http://www.batit.com/forumpics/spctoeboltinstall.pdf
I would slot both inside and outside as how the template is lay between the two tabs to avoid any future slotting of the outside if ever need to do this again. I did that to a few members car around me.

I slot it enough that I was able to push the wheel out a couple mm to give it a tad more stance then the 25mm spacer gives.

Mike, those camber arms (Kinetic or SPC) will not work in our cars. I would suggest to stop the order. Our rear shock cannot be mounted onto those arms you mentioned. There is nothing to try. Just get two 72265 camber bolt kits and slot the sub-frame with the provided template. If you have the GTSPEC Rear Tie (the short straight one) brace, you will need even longer bolts than the one that came with the 72265 kit. Jeff (J3FF3R$0N)had made some custom longer bolt made awhile ago. He may still have some. I have an extra set back when he made them. If you need these longer bolt (longer then 72265 kit) let me know.

Last night I tried to cancel the order.. I hope I still can get the refund.. I used the excuse that the part does not fit our vehicles.. Let's see if that works.. I bought the bolt kit a while ago and will be using that instead.. I need to buy a Dremel and the right bits and will do it this weekend..

Damn, I'll need longer bolts I guess. Finally got some freaking answers at least.

Jeff's situation seemed different than most though, I'm going to see if I need the longer ones for sure first.

What Jeff had was another saga. Using custom longer bolt is because of the thickness of the GTSPEC brace that the 72265 bolt were not accounted for. I have tried with using the 72265 bolt with GTSPEC brace on. It shy about 1/8" for having the tip of the bolt flush with the edge of the nuts. I just don't feel too confidence with that.

I took te brace out. Don't like it sitting so low under te car if you look behind it but i still find the bolt too short. The nut doesn't come over the full thread already with the "longer" bolt kit i have.

Metal shavings, everywhere!

SPC 72265 is the exact same size as OEM, for the spring bucket/upper tie GTspec mount points. The other ones are different looking and might end up being shorter, but hopefully still work.

Here's the 72265 kit bolts versus the spring bucket on top, and shock mount tie on the bottom. It did work for the shock mount tie even though it's longer, and that's without the gtspec brace. I think it would have worked with the gtspec on the spring mount also, but it was harder to access the nut after I had to elongate the gtspec mounts. I didn't feel like taking off the exhaust again to try a better angle because I had just taken the time to align it all.

Guys does anybody know the post or tread Viet made about his Camber arms being made longer. Cannot seem to find it and remember reading about it somewhere. I still have a Alignment Camber of -3.0 degrees at the rear with the SPC maxxed out already. Would prefer bringing it towards -2.0 at minimum but need to get some camber arms i believe.

Well yeah, that's this thread, but I don't see anything about the camber arms. Or at least no pics. I think I know what you are talking about Ray, but couldn't find anything.

Here's some good stuff from TC6, skip to post 61, top of page 3 for me. This might be what you are thinking of.
