What went wrong with your FX today?

Have not been there on my own. You will be the pioneer at this now. :smile (2):

Whats that green wire running across?

Good question. My guess would be trailer lights wiring (funny story: just found out I had that today. Been looking for it forever.)

So here's what I had to do:

There are two silver coverings with some sort of adhesive that cover access holes to underneath the metal. I pulled one up and used Mollye (little arms) to grab the bolt plate for the latch. I then got a hanger and put it through one of the bolt holes on that plate and fished it up to the backside of where you bolt the latch onto. When it was up to the backside I screwed one of the bolts in and then undid the hanger and screwed in the other.

How are you're tires? Belt separation in the tires will cause shakes and thump noise.

A lot belts left on thread doesn't prevent belt separation. It's rare, but can happens due to bad manufacturing.

I would rotate the tires to see/hear if the noise moves with tires if you can't see anything visually broken.

I have noise from front drivers side only when I make a hard right at higher speeds. Also a grinding noise when I accelerate hard.
Normal driving is fine and no noticeable noises.

Any suggestions. .. I been searching and leaning on changing the wheel bearing, strut bearing and possible the sway bar link.
BTW my FX is Rwd

my guess would be ball joint but check suspension components, and motor mounts

Car started making a whining noise. Hear it all the time doesnt pass as engine warms up. Almost sounds as if im supercharged. Im hoping its just belts possibly change pulleys while im there. Any other possible causes of this wining noise?

power steering pump, alternator, got to visually check the area might be loose belts

Was driving on the causeway between Bahrain - KSA and at 100 Miles an hour had a violent vibration. Slowed down and went away, picked up speed again but didn't feel it. I recently balanced my wheels/tires, did an alignment, and changed the rear right bearing. I'll be looking more into this over the weekend

I get vibration from the steering wheel when driving around 60mph. I'm guessing the steering rack fix may take care of this. Also, my driver's side seat belt receptacle makes this clicking noise when i wiggle it. It very annoying.

It never ends. Anyone have a issue with the tumbler on the ignition? Turns on fine and when i go to turn it off it gets stuck. I have to jiggle it up and down to turn it off completely. If i use the key works fine.
