Been driving the FX as much as possible - a little around town, some freeway time
as well.
First thoughts, Haven't really driven it hard but it is much stronger, off the line and throughout the curve
The drone is back very slightly, not nearly as bad as the last system but then again the system has NO cats still. Cats will be here on the 16th, cats plus the tune should do the trick. BUT the start up and WOT sound.....really slick. Still not too loud but a very cool slightly higher pitched throaty sound you wouldn't associate with an FX......The sound? Worth it all man =)
Engine has died a few times, engine revs up then drops low (down to 6 possibly 5K), then dies. Cold engine start has an oscillation between 7K and and 1,400K. after a few minutes it smooths out.
"Engine service soon" light has blinked on a couple times.
Tune is set for Wednesday. Charles says that the tune will cure all the issues, Kito the tuner also said the same. SO much more airflow the ECU has to be tweaked, all this without the first UPREV tune that is now in place would have been hell I bet......
