What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Cleaned up the FX so I can go out and shoot for the ROTM. This is what my wheels looked like today before the cleaning... so much rain and filth!

What did I do to my FX since Christmas break?

Nearly completed PHASE II.....(73% there)
It's all mostly cosmetic but more financially tangible than FI right now...

Motordyne 5/16 upper plenum spacer -- installed (and fun)
GT-Spec front tower brace (thank you Ge0rge) -- installed
10.5 GT-R rears up front (thank you OhThatGuy) to match 10.5s in back -- installed but not yet painted darker Graphite
Blacked out head lamps -- baked and painted during Christmas break
Blacked out CHMSL and rear reflectors -- shaved raised lettering and tinted
New Infiniti all-aluminum pedals -- installed
Paint matched the door handles -- a fun and easy DIY
Audi Q5 turn signals in mirrors -- gotta buy em and try this yet
Lower front lip spoiler and rear badge paint match -- gotta get this done yet too

Attached is a before and a what-it-will-look-like after (PhotoShopped) to best give you the idea. Recent photos to come!
Thanks for watching!

Very nice man

Just picked up my fx from getting the rear slotted and having an alignment done. The guy said they couldn't fit my rear braces back on :( cuz they slotted about an inch in the rear.

Looks like a great plan, Terry! Can't wait to see it completed. The bigger tires up front should dial out any excess understeer too.

Sweet! How do you like it compared to OEM? Did u get the morimotos? This will be my project next weekend :)

Bedded the brakes today :)
BIG difference in light output, way better than OEM. I love the 4300k + 3000k setup. I have this same setup in my TL. I once tried 6000k fogs in my TL but the light output sucked in the snow. Yellow is the way to go with rain, fog and snow. In the housing it doesn't look deep yellow but when it hits the asphalt in the rain, the light color is golden. I'll take a pic next time in the rain. These are the morimotos. don't forget pics after you're done!!

so Yellow will brighten up the ground more during the rain? i have that issue atm. dry roads, it like day time infront of me. when the road is wet, can't see anything
