Agree, and I live in a heavy snow-belt area and there is a lot of road salt used on our highways and streets.I would not use Eibach in areas with a lot of snow. Us California people should be fine since we don't have to deal with oxidation/corrosion.

hahaha. just being biased. lol. i dont have anything against the h&r's lol. the only reason i got the eibachs is because my buddy could get them for cheaper haha

Reading the back and forth it really seems like The Tire Rack did not stand behind a product they market/sell. There are many examples of companies out there that choose to do the right thing when a product fails ESPECIALLY when it comes to safety. The lack of reaction or coverage simply increases the end users desire to take the issue to the next level. Very glad you were not hurt by the faulty merchandise....

The only problem that I'm having now is that the strut bearings were missing from the damaged spring when they installed the H&R's...where did they go and when?
Could I have been driving all this time without the strut bearings or could they have fallen out due to the defective spring?
Or did the previous installer not re-install the bearings and not have told me?

Could this had/have an effect on the suspension and is it safe to drive?

Here is my advice to you: I'd just bring the car back to stock. It seems you are financially struggling currently. Why waste money on making the car look good if you have other priorities.... just my thought. Too late now I suppose, but I would've requested some sort of refund and put oems back on.
No way the bearings could have fallen out. Well, I suppose under the infinite umbrella of "anything is possible" is could happen, but the odds are pretty small. The spring has no influence on the bearing in terms of installation. Rather, the bearing is held in place by the strut itself and the large nut at the top end of the installed strut. For the bearing to come off post installation, multiple severe fractures would have to occur in either the bearing race or the strut shaft. The reality is that barring a devastating impact to that particular area (like being T-boned by a train), forces sufficient to cause damage like that just don't exist. Assuming the entire bearing assembly was missing and not just the individual balls, someone forgot to install the bearing.
The effect of running sans-strut bearing would be on your steering, as the entire strut rotates about a vertical axis when your wheels turn. Instead of having neutral, light, and smooth steering you would have one (one missing bearing or both?) side that resists rotation as torsion is applied to the strut, then possibly slips suddenly as the upper strut plate shifts to accommodate your steering angle. This could be a very dangerous situation if for example you go into a fast corner and halfway through the plate shifts, causing a sudden decrease in steering wheel resistance.
Again, the bearing has little direct influence on the spring but it seems to me that if the strut was being subjected to an abnormal amount of torsional force and was in turn flexing during normal driving conditions, that the spring could, COULD, be affected. Whether or not that is the case depends on a lot of factors. Considering Eibach's widespread reputation for snapping springs, I'd say the bearing was likely not a factor.
Personally, if I was in your place I would consider it a dangerous condition and get that bearing installed asap.
