What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Good wear across tire, but just way to quick. These are sticky and cheap so running again

those look like some good tires. I wish I lived in a warm state would be running summer tires all the time.

Finally got around to installing my illuminated kick plates. Not very difficult. Took about an hour of going slowly to not mess anything up. F my local dealer for wanting two hours labor to do it.

Busy week...

Said goodbye to the 2012 Umbria Twilight FX35 (affectionately known as the 'Brown Shark') on Wednesday b/c the QX70S arrived on the previous Sat...

so I took a pic of them sharing the driveway before she left

First fill-up and carwash for the QX on Friday.. then a bit of shopping in Short Hills Mall (NJ)... all and all a good 1st week. :smug:

Nice looking ride, I saw two qx70s when I went to the dealership last week and what I did not understand is if they are the sports model why did they not put the akebono brakes on the vehicles.

I had that same thought... I think the S package on the 12-14 was an actual performance package... on the 16 it looks to be more of an appearance package. :weep::weep:

Infiniti is just getti stingy with that specially when is advertised as a sports model they should give u all the bells and whistles.

I've mentioned it before, when they abandoned the 5.0, they got really cheap.

What's stupid is they added the sport model, tacked a huge price tag on it, but didn't give you some of the best features like the nice seats with the thigh bolsters and BBK. Basically moving closer and closer to just targetting the speed racer soccer mom crowd with their latest moves.

Mine has thigh bolsters

Agreed. that said, the S does still have the power thigh bolsters on the driver's seat, as well as the manual leg extension on both front seats.

I've driven both and I could swear the ride is a little tighter on the S, but I'm not convinced that there is actually any difference in the suspension set up at all. Maybe just what I wanted to feel to convince myself to buy the S.

Mostly appearance now. BBK not being there is a huge let down, I would have loved the Akebono on it but now I'll have to slap them on myself once it's time for a brake service. At least we know the 21" wheels on the S will clear the Akebonos.
