What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

No worries Wayne, I'll get one online. I'm curious about it.

You can check mine out, that is all I use. unfortunately I have not put a fresh coat of Zaino Z2 sealant on it since last fall, but you will see it still is doing it's job. I want to clay bar it before I put the sealant on again.
I use the Zaino Z7 Car Wash whenever I wash it at home and then finish it off with th Zaino Z6 Detailing Spray (gloss enhancer)

I've been packing my travel wash kit for the FX for it's two week trip to the US in a couple of days . THis is my kit I usually bring along.

My kit consists of a wash pail with lid with the following:
-1 bottle of ONR (Optimum No Rinse).
-1 bottle of Zaino Z7 (Car Wash)
-1bottle of Zaino Z6 Detailing Spray
-1 spray can of Stoners Glass cleaner
-wash brush for wheels
-tire dressing and applicator brush
-double waffle weave drying towel
-many small micro fiber towels
-microfiber wash mitt

Just our of curiosity, what is your cleaning process when you are on the road?

Have you ever used the blackfire sealant?

No I have never used Blackfire, it may be good but I really like my Zaino so why switch.

When I am travelling, I will stop at a DIY car wash, give my ride a quick rinse to get the loose stuff off then fill up my wash bucket and add my Zaino Car wash, I give it a quick wash and rinse it off, sometimes I'll have to wash half, rinse then finish the rest.

Other times I will use my ONR (Optimum No Rinse) in the Hotel Parking lot, it works great, all I do is get 3 gal of water from the room in my bucket and add my ONR, instructions are here: http://www.optimumcarcare.com/onrwns.php
It works great, but I only do this when I have a ground floor room and can do it in a quiet back corner of the lot.

I always have my double waffle weave towels with me, which are great for drying the car.
I also finish it up with my Z6 Detailing Spray.

I have never used an Auto Car wash, I would rather leave it dirty.

No the bolt on top is not for aiming the light. That's the mounting bolt. The bolt right behind the housing is for aiming.

I just looked at my housing and I saw a bolt on the back.. but isn't that bolt used to hold the fog light housing to the bumper..?

Ha, your is an 06, so the aiming bolt is at the bottom of the housing. Counter clockwise for up. Clockwise is for down.

Installed the 5k vled LED lights for the glovebox and the change holder. Also repositioned the bypass nav button to be accessible from the folding of the cup holder instead of the arm rest holder.

Only vleds left to put in on the car are the license plate lights. It got dark, so will have to do it another day. I hear I have to completely remove the inside of the trunk cover, then outside upper plate, and then it's accessible. I'll tackle this endeavor on Friday then.

How long did the license plate light replacement for the 2nd gen take you guys?

Didn't do what you described.. Just removed the plastic housing and unscrew the bulbs. 5 minutes max.
