What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Surprisingly the drop is even. The H&R's in front are cut a 1/2 coil and that's ~1 finger gap. The rear is at ~ 1 finger gap as well. On the BC springs, I've got maybe about 1/2" of thread left before I max out the drop.

So are you rocking the reverse rake now? Bottoming out the rear shock is looooooow.

Today I bought my FX some new "shoes". After much research I decided on the Toyo Versado CUV 265/60 R18s 110 V rated. My old Brdigestone oems had about 8k life left and as we all know, most tires don't die gracefully :( So far the new tires are much more quiet(Actually I can't hear them at all), and the ride is alot smoother. It is too soon to tell if MPG will improve, but I have my fingers crossed. I can actually hear my engine now and it sounds Damn FINE ;)

I Know most on here have upsized their tires to 20" or above, but for the rest of us who plan on keeping our 18" tires, I will post a more in-depth review once I put some miles on them.

My local guy got me out the door at $730, which is about what it would cost for an online to my installer to do it(maybe a few dollars more, but not much). They have a 45 day 500 mile test drive period(full refund including install), 55k mile warranty and they have gotten some pretty stellar reviews on line.

Received the stillen intake that I bought from eBay, however the filter looks dirty how do I clean it? Then I should be receiving my sports headlights soon that I bought used from eBay for $150.00 the asking price was originally $250 but he took the offer of $150.

btw: are you CERTAIN u got a PAIR of sports headlights and not just 1 side? $150 is rather cheap and best to recheck the fine prints.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be one. I've seen lots of auctions for $250 for each headlight, but never both. It's confusing though, because most of the time there's just one little line there that states you specify L or R.

I just emailed the seller an he said it's both left and right. He said he was getting rid of them bc they been sitting in the garage for a while since he got rid of the fx a while back.

BC Coilover install round 2...Got the rear shocks on finally. But the fronts are still a no-go. The bolt that holds the stabilizer bar on is unbelievably stuck. It would not budge no matter what I did and finally I noticed it starting to round off. I'm giving up and taking it to the shop so they can hit it w/ the impact wrench. Now that the rear shocks are on, the ride got much better. I really was sitting on the bumpstops w/ the OEM shocks back there. When I put the BC shocks on, the rear dropped another 1/2". Didn't have time to raise it so now I actually am rocking a slight reverse rake.

Edit: Dropped the car off at the shop for the front BC install. They just called me to let me know that the stabilizer bar endlink was frozen and they couldn't remove it. Guess that explains why I couldn't get it off either. So they're having to cut it off and put a new one on. I'm still amazed that all of this was done in 2 years and 12K miles. Since it's been down here in GA, the car has been garaged the whole time and there hasn't been any road salt. I'm curious as to how bad it is for older cars from NY. And I'm dreading the day I decide to get an exhaust.

Purchased the K&N cleaning kit for my stillen intake and the ATE Super blue brake fluid for the JBT BBK whenever it arrives.
