What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Drove to work this morning but from the look of my fx you would have thought that I went mudding instead.

Silly Johnathan! The FX isn't made for muddin'

Grabbed a couple of these and stuck em in the FX, the clips dont actually work for the FX though...

I would probably enjoy the scent of thai dragon fruit in general, but I don't think I can make the FX smell all fruity like that on the inside. :tongue (2):

I fitted the rear view side mirrors with carbon fiber inserts (not blinkers) Technically they are blinkers but thought I'd go for a different look and used carbon fiber wrap to cover them so they could match my door pillars. I think it came out good, I would load up a pic but dont really know how to. Check out my garage and tell me what you guys think.

SeaFoamed ChicagoFX45's VK45DE engine through the intake manifold and fuel tank. You can tell that we're old because Chris is holding his baby and I was holding mine -- then we switched off to me holding both when someone needed two hands to do some engine work.

Chris's engine died a few times because I had the vacuum hose suck too much SeaFoam (my fault), but I reduced the SeaFoam and the engine started back up and I slowed the SeaFoam intake. I had Chris rev to between 2-3k while it took about 1/3 to 1/2 the can (full can in fuel tank).

There was a little white smoke coming out from the exhaust. We shut down the engine and let it rest then when Chris left he started it up and a lot of white smoke came out the exhaust -- then nothing at all. After the car warmed up Chris got into the higher RPM's on the highway and supposedly smoke screened the entire expressway on his way home... so SeaFoam successfully completed.

My arms got tired so the babies had to sit on the car.

LOL, mission accomplished! :top: Chris, do you notice it driving better now? Great pic btw!

I would actually like to see a detailing specific meet at some point. That's one thing that I haven't got a lot of experience around.
