What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Yes lance! I don't mind at all. Looks very classy but subtle. No bumps? came as a solid piece of smooth acrylic, the badege is apox 2 pennys thick+ self supplied doubble side adhesive.

Sorry Joe, looking at it on my phone. Was wondering if you removed the round bumps on each row of the grill. Need to get on my laptop to get a better look......

No I did not, that's a serious project! Would look nice but not sure it's worth the hours to have it Perfect. This is a 15 min mod from my imagination of, What if I... Can't really see the bumps unless your looking for them. You could paint them matte and just keep the faces gloss, could be cool.

I. FINALLY had time to get my O2 sensor bung installed today. Installed the gauge in the clock bezel last week (it barely fits) so now I just need to wire everything up and the tuning can begin!

Side note; While my exhaust guy had the cats out today I was pondering the addition of some brackets that would mimic those of the OEM cats (the ones that tie the cats to the trans bell housing) to eliminate the small vibration I've noticed lately at idle. Well, it turns out that when these hfc's were installed at the last exhaust shop, the bracket that connects the cats to the trans was removed and discarded without my knowledge (it wasn't needed with the new bracket-less cats). Anyway, I call up the other shop and ask then about the bracket and his reply is "oh yeah, we scrapped it along with the other stuff you said you didn't want." To their credit, I did say that all I wanted from the old setup was the oem cats and flowmaster rear section, but I didn't think they would remove and toss a part that wasn't in the way without asking. Now I have to buy another bracket. Ugh.

You can find one for cheap Tim. I saw some just the other day actually, with all hardware on either G35Driver or My350z. I still have mine, but am keeping it since I still have the OEM cats.

Sweet, thanks. I'm sure that my vibration is a direct result of removing that support. I had a guy at the shop throw a clamp on the cat today that prevented it and the headers from flexing, and the rest of the system was suddenly rock solid. Without that attachment point I was able to move the resonator an inch side to side. Luckily my guy's going to duplicate the solid OEM mount on my kinetic cats for $25/ each. Score.

I've thought about getting new HFC's that mount to the brace a few times. I always worry about it all moving around and stuff.

Installed the Fujita intake (thanks aero). After 3.5-4k RPMs you can definetly hear it... I like. Also it frees up quite a bit of room in the engine bay.

Very nice, glad you like it! I forgot to tell you, I cleaned the filter for you, so it'll be good to go for a while. :top:

Very nice. My favorite configuration for sound is the Stillen without the heat shield, which is essentially what you have there.

soap and water, thats what i do to mine (fujita, same as yours). I wash it with lukewarm water, dry it out, simple.
