What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Changed to the Black badgeless grill and added some originality, I really like it, tried to incoperate the body line, but didn't want anything over the top. Hard to get a good angle pic, reflects the shadows.

Lookin' good, I like it too! This post should go in your garage, Joe! I'm looking to get my grille blackened too, once I find one cheap on eBay.
 
Grille looks good, the sticker bump "INFINITI" seems to show more attention. The thought of a clean cut gloss vinyl line with "infiniti" lettering would look more blended, that's if you want the hassle :smile (2):.

Took two seconds for Andy and I loaded his tuned map for ChiFX45 and transferred it to mine.

UniChip's 93 octane aggressive map was noticeable and now with Handy_Andy's plus 2 and 7,500 rev limiter, I'm simply blown away.

It's so noticeable, the plus 2, especially on an already tuned map. I'm still in awe. Having 5 maps loaded, I switched on the fly from different maps and can feel the difference.

Note than after putting plus 2 into the unichip, I ran a scan to confirm but the unchip brings it back to 1.9 advanced timing. Not sure why. Fx35 will keep it at plus 2.

Anyway, UniChip maps were good, this just makes them outstanding.

Yeah, I notice a huge difference has well. I know yours is crazy jumpy from a stop, because of the eFan mod MAN has to be badass. I diffinitely have to take your FX out for a spin. I'm glad you got the Map 5 working I wish we had more time I should have tested it before we left for dinner with the family.

Come over whenever. Efan is definitely nice, you should see how HEAVY the fan is. I threw mine out but the rotating mass is definitely reduce so less drain on the engine.

C'mon Jonas we need some shots after her bath (fx that is) haha

I washed mine a couple days ago. Been about 3 months since she's had a bath. Hides dirt pretty good but couldn't wait to get all the salt/sand off. Now I can finally see through the back window :)

I don't believe that you wash her. To proof it, we need a pic of her in her shiny coat with today's newspaper showing today's date. Just playing with you Jonas, but its always nice to look at a nice clean shiny FX though. :wink (2):

The Infiniti logo I looked all over for, wanted to do something with an OEM badge, not all vinyl. It's from the trunk of a late model G-20. There are a few colors I've seen, gold, silver and black. It's one of the only ones I've found thin enough to fit. Just needed to reback it. The pin stripe is 1/8 inch chrome that is advertised for use on RC helicopters to increase visibility. Carefully Ran the pin across, lining it up with the body line and then applied the badge. Tada, there ya go!
