What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Changed to the Black badgeless grill and added some originality, I really like it, tried to incoperate the body line, but didn't want anything over the top. Hard to get a good angle pic, reflects the shadows.

cleaned out my fx, changed bulbs back to stock for night driving. Heading out tomorrow afternoon to quebec mont tremblant(6-7 hour drive) to spend the weekend snowboarding! Cant wait to see how much crap will fit inside her. Snowboards will be going up top in the ski box, and ski racks. Gonna snow tomorrow also.. Riding on all seasons. shall be fun!

why did you put the stock bulbs back in?

Grille looks good, the sticker bump "INFINITI" seems to show more attention. The thought of a clean cut gloss vinyl line with "infiniti" lettering would look more blended, that's if you want the hassle :smile (2):.

Galaxy S2 on

Called Handy_Andy's 24/7 IT support. I didn't know how to properly use UniChip's software and was not transferring maps from the computer to the UniChip.

Took two seconds for Andy and I loaded his tuned map for ChiFX45 and transferred it to mine.

UniChip's 93 octane aggressive map was noticeable and now with Handy_Andy's plus 2 and 7,500 rev limiter, I'm simply blown away.

It's so noticeable, the plus 2, especially on an already tuned map. I'm still in awe. Having 5 maps loaded, I switched on the fly from different maps and can feel the difference.

Note than after putting plus 2 into the unichip, I ran a scan to confirm but the unchip brings it back to 1.9 advanced timing. Not sure why. Fx35 will keep it at plus 2.

Anyway, UniChip maps were good, this just makes them outstanding.

Can't wait to have Unichip further fine time the a/f ratios.

Yeah, I notice a huge difference has well. I know yours is crazy jumpy from a stop, because of the eFan mod MAN has to be badass. I diffinitely have to take your FX out for a spin. I'm glad you got the Map 5 working I wish we had more time I should have tested it before we left for dinner with the family.

Come over whenever. Efan is definitely nice, you should see how HEAVY the fan is. I threw mine out but the rotating mass is definitely reduce so less drain on the engine.

The Infiniti logo I looked all over for, wanted to do something with an OEM badge, not all vinyl. It's from the trunk of a late model G-20. There are a few colors I've seen, gold, silver and black. It's one of the only ones I've found thin enough to fit. Just needed to reback it. The pin stripe is 1/8 inch chrome that is advertised for use on RC helicopters to increase visibility. Carefully Ran the pin across, lining it up with the body line and then applied the badge. Tada, there ya go!
