I hope they included the lube for free...
Had to get my brakes done last September at the dealer since I was leaving the next day for school. My SA was like yeah you could probably do it yourself but I doubt you want to deal with that. I was amazed at the cost. I think $400, just for the rears, new pads and refinished rotors.
That's not so bad really, for stealership labor and oem parts. Resurfacing rotors seems like a PITA... :dontknow:
Maybe it's just me, but I never had to resurface. I go about 50k-75k miles on a set of rotors and then just buy new ones.
Doing the brakes yourself is real easy. 4 major bolts and your done. 2 bolts if your only doing pads. I'd say do it yourself as a learning experience/curve.
Got the factory pads with the hardware kit for 60 bucks on ebay. Rotors from R1 concepts (drilled/slotted) 200 bucks.
