What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Swapped out my interior bulbs and some headlight bulbs and reserve bulbs for pilot automotive LED bulbs. Got them cheap on eBay. Soon I will know if they help when in reverse at night and light up the rear.
 
Had to change out front propellor shaft. I was going to replace universal joints but to my dismay I found out that they were not replaceable and the entire drive shaft was a throw away. The universals are pinched in not clipped.

I heard a clicking sound and upon inspection saw that the front universal joint had grenaded.
I thought about doing this myself but after looking at how many things had to be removed to replace it I called my local mechanic and it was only 250.00 for labor to get it done. Just didn't have the time to do this myself but great DIY.

Thanks brother!! Haha lol yeah a cheap, easy quick way to change the calipers. Its just a caliper cover. You can put them on without even taking the wheel off. If I remember correctly I think I found them on autoanything. They even block brake dust.
 
What's up fellas?!? It's been awhile since I've been around these parts. I put my fx back to mostly stock form and traded her in last weekend. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me whenever I had a question or a problem concerning my blueberry. Here she is before I traded her in.

Today I upgraded to slotted and drilled rotors. It wasn’t bad at all I had a g37xs and it was waaaay tougher to do brakes and rotors on and it was non-akebono! So happy with this truck. Next up shift knob and radio knobs! IMG_1845.jpg
 
Got an alignment and my winter tires swapped out for my summer tires at the dealership. At first I went to townfair tire to get the tires swapped out and was going to get an alignment for 11:30 am. Earlier in the week I called to ask if it would make a difference to go wary in the morning and just wait, the sales rep told me since I had an appointment I should just go at that time because my spot was saved and waiting people would move down when I arrive. So I arrived at 11:25 and they told me my car would be all set in 1.5 hours which would make it 1:00 pm for the car to be ready. I got up around 1:30 pm to see what was going on and it said my fx was complete so I said to the kid how does it show it’s complete and his response was they are just waiting to do the alignment. I said how were u able to change the winter tires since it has not moved from the parking spot since I arrived and he proceeded to say he would go check what’s going on, the manager came out and gave me some bs that they started the wrong car and that my fx would be next. 30 mins later after seeing my fx still parked outside I walked to the front desk and just said can I get my car key and his response was sorry we are short staffed today, how the f are you short staffed on a Saturday when that’s when most people go there, I did not want to argue I just grabbed my car and called the dealership and the manager was like bring it down now I will get it done right away. Man I don’t recommend town fair tire for anything ever again.
