What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

View attachment 559731

My baby's been at the dealership for a new transmission and rear differential. Quoted as a $10k job but warranty saved me lol. I've been driving this Q60 for the past 2 weeks, kinda feels too unstable especially when cornering.. the back end feels like it'll whip out too easily. Also surprising that my FX is faster and hits 60 quicker than this 3.0TT

What happened that you need a new trand and diff? How many miles on your fx?

Ok guys heres a current list: injen air intakes, blue nismo oil cap, beluga racing resonated test pipes with invidia exhaust, red brake caliper covers and a black painted front infiniti symbol and blue exhaust tips. The last most recent mod is an uprev tune by admintuning. The only thing left for me to do is get those clear tail lights. Oh almost forgot, drilled and slotted rotors.

Great Mods! Those intakes look sweet! Curious do you have wheel locks on your wheels? I have been debating if those are worth getting?

Where did you get the grille? And is it just plug and play or do you have to do some rewire for the front camera?

Thanks! Do you like the ceramic pads that come with this kit? Do you notice any improvement in braking?
Ok so NO noise and NO brake dust at all! The pads and rotor MUST go through the breakin as required on the package or it will not stop as well as it can when done properly. With that said I love this combo absolutely no complaints.

I would recommend avoiding cross drilled rotors unless they are cast in. If they are drilled after the rotors are made then there is a bigger chance of breakage and fatigue failure. I've seen this first hand while racing. There are a few companies like Baer that are cast in. PowerSlot may too but not sure. For street applications, all you need is slotted to help dissipate heat. Just and FYI. Still, the drilled looks pretty sick
