What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

SWEET!!

(edit) The large Infiniti emblem on the grille; is the emblem three-dimentional, or flat like the newly designed 2018 QX50's?

I posted in another thread about the holographic-effect of the grille Infiniti emblem being made of flat plastic - versus a three-dimensional one, which I don't care for, but others may like, especially if you plan to wrap it.

(Personally, I wasn't impressed driving the new, larger 'QX50 with turbo-charged 4cyl, eco, standard and sport mode).

I’m not crazy about the flat emblem at all. It seems like a lazy design, if you ask me. It’s not like wrapping the raised emblem is difficult.

I believe they make the emblem like that because there’s a cruise control radar behind it. My lexus emblem and the q60 emblems with adaptive cruise are the same way.

FINALLY bought aero kit and put the front lip one today! Still waiting on side skirts and then custom splitters and diffuser :) Completely changed the look of the car!!

Dope as usual.. if you don't mind me asking, where are you gonna get the splitter/diffuser? I've been eyeing the rear diffuser on eBay with the 3rd taillight but not sure whether to go custom or not

My baby's been at the dealership for a new transmission and rear differential. Quoted as a $10k job but warranty saved me lol. I've been driving this Q60 for the past 2 weeks, kinda feels too unstable especially when cornering.. the back end feels like it'll whip out too easily. Also surprising that my FX is faster and hits 60 quicker than this 3.0TT

S Factor Fabrication in NY makes it but I think imma make everything my self. The diffuser is gonna be like the stuff aeroflow dynamics makes Imma try that myself too... But I really like the KM garage rear bumper lip IMG_1818.JPG If I can’t make diffuser I’ll try to source from Japan

Painted brake calipers black, added high temp Infiniti decals. Was going back and forth between the combination of Infiniti letters and the logo.

LOL, that's practically what I did with my calipers! I think you should just leave the logo off and put letters on the rear too (thats how I did mine), rusty rotors really hurt now, I sprayed my rotors totally black with something over here called "Hammerite", you can spray it straight over rust and it hold's for a pretty long time. My front rotors are warped and I'm replacing them with black zinc drilled Stoptech's.

I went with black because I will be upgrading to Akebono's BBK up front and want to color match the rear oem brake's, any light or bright color's(like red) would be ok up front, but will make those puny rear's stick out like a sore thumb, so gloss black with white decal's will look cool up front while keeping the rear's low profile. I'll post a few pic's so you can see the resemblance.

Like I said, nothing fancy, I'm not a big fan of fancy color's on oem brake's, leave that for the BBK's. When I get akebono's up front in black gloss with white decal's the rear oem's will blend in nicely, but keeping a low profile.

Nicely done Ozzie!

Here is the finished product. Went with the logo in the rear and both in front. One day we will have real brakes ;)

, Nice, My front rotor's are warped, so now is THE time for Akebono's! but.......... I'm also looking at a dead radio( no sound in car at all), a dead speedo, leaking rear muffler, bubbly dash....... over here that can be somewhere between 3-4K, plus that a front BBK painted, shipped + import taxes will put me somewhere around 2K , just be putting some black zinc drilled Stoptech's on for now and hold off on the BBK for better day's

Scored a used tonneau cover for the cargo area from eBay! Saved over $150 over a new one. Now, a carpeted cargo organizer and I’ll be all set...

Clear tail lights a must!!!!! Where can I get em?
Ok guys heres a current list: injen air intakes, blue nismo oil cap, beluga racing resonated test pipes with invidia exhaust, red brake caliper covers and a black painted front infiniti symbol and blue exhaust tips. The last most recent mod is an uprev tune by admintuning. The only thing left for me to do is get those clear tail lights. Oh almost forgot, drilled and slotted rotors.
