Thanks ...!! I see that you are in miami. From what i understand is that the full summit line in the US is sold under GT-SPEC. I think they have exclusivity for the US. Thats why the manufacturer might not reply to your in inquiry cause they don't want any trouble with there big US cliënt. Who did you contact......taiwan or europe. Cause europe i know and they don't stock the FX line. They have some items. Email me at: ray@jenrcardesign.nl send me a picture óf the part you want and i'll see what i can do. Shipping would be killing though.....trust me i know buying all that stuff from your side óf the pond for years now :)

Had some issues with the quaife diff but finally got it in last week. Contacted my tuner and will try to make an appoinment with him soon.
The turbonetics kit has a known issue with A/C hoses blowing due to the fact there to close to the feed pipe of the turbo. They even provide a longer hose to get rid of this problem but i read some still have issues. I didn't have this hose so double wrapped mine with heat and exhaust wrap but Unfortunatly without luck......it blew. I know special ordered one wich i completly from stainless steel....in and outside....no rubber it at all. Made it around 17 inch longer and the additional heat wrap should make it sure it won't happen again.

Was it just the stainless line that was replaced or is the whole assembly new? Doing some research - curious if that rubber piece is removable.

Where did you get the new stainless hose from? what size are the ends?
 
The stainless line is welded to a stainless coupler and i now can easaly can (dis) connect them from eachother trough threading. Hope this is clear enough for you otherwise have to make some close up pictures. Still haven't had the time to install it.

Break in is over my tuner should have time for me in januari. So hope he stick with his word.

Visited the official dutch paul walker memorial meet with the FX last week and the reactions were great. Only the third time i showed it at public meet this year. I was tagged crazy on facebook haha. Here some pics

Hah! It may be the 100th time, but the flat hatter closest to you seems to be all in for the FX history. Ride looks good and the wheels are really nice man. How is it running?
 
Haha but i can sure bring a story. It runs and sounds great. Realy need that final tune asap..... getting sick of all those boost/fuel and timing cuts.

Thanks...!! Yeah that Vid is made by a client of mine. I didn't even know, he asked if he couls make some pictures. But time for some new onces soon. Hope to make some dyno vids but don't have an youtube account an don't know how to post vids here also. Would need help with that soon.....:eek.:
 
Awesome, Ray! Take it to meets as often as you can. Sharing it is what keeps me high on the car. It looks great.
 
Ok friday next week is D-day for me. Mounting the A/C line tommorow. Putting the castrol edge 10w-60 in it. Final aligment and then its Dyno-Time i'll make sure i make some vids and pics as i still don't know how to post these things

Friday was D-Day.....Dyno time. I honeslty don't know you guys experiance with automatic transmissions and dyno's cause that ain't that easy as with manual IMO. My tuner was @ 1 Bar (14.2 Psi) boost and at 735Nm (542 Foot Pounds ) of torque when he said he would rather go any further with his mapping on the road. He had the idea the tranny would react different on the road and he was right. With that figures on the dyno were no issues but on the road the tranny was slipping like crazy.We downtuned it to eventually 0.8 Bar (11.6 Psi ) after Torque Managment trough the Osiris Tuner program. So unfortunatly don't have any final numbers but can say it runs great !! I can feel the tranny struggle so really have to watch that from know on and otherwise downtune it a little bit further. Honestly i don't think i hit the same numbers as jumbo or rookie having the same tranny internals as they had. I think we can go a bit further if we would bring in the boost a bit slower in increased per rpm. Now it sometimes feel a bit mental but like that for now.bunydyse.jpgtyry5ahy.jpge2ugupur.jpg
