Short break in.....today drove 150 miles to my brother in law. 5 minutes before my arrival the turbo died on me. The GT35-R is a ballbearing turbo and has an oil feed. My first engine contained massive metal in the oil when we took it out. I wanted to lett the turbo inspected but these turbo don't seem to be able to be inspected or can be taken apart for inspection. You can only revise them or put a new cartridge in them i was told. So i therefore took the gamble and hoped it would be ok but unfortunatly without any luck. Am taking it out asap and lett it revised. Car runs great so can't wait to get it running again

Sorry to hear, but at least its a something you knew about so you can just get it fixed now and move on.

Jup.....indeed......already out as well too. Shipping it out first things tommorow.
The axle óf the turbine is way loose in there so the bearings are gone. Now just hoping it didn't damage the exhaust and Air housings too much. I can see some damage/grinding on the air side.....hope it van be repared.
