Yeah buddy you should know. You had tackeld all these things at a certain point as well. So doing them all at once sometimes is somewhat overwelming.....

damn beautiful..... GL with all the work!!!! can't wait to see the finished project...
is this going to be like a show car? like rookie's? or everyday ride...

No daily driver for me. Weekend car and hobby. Yeah color is debatble but i love and it grows on you when you see it for real is what most people say.
I am thinking on putting some +06 tail lights in with the whole stealth look i'm aiming for.
ETA is hard to say. Hopefully get my tranny back next week so we can put the motor in. Plan.is to get the rest of the car finished before that happens. Interior wise that is. Most time will deff go into the small.detail work i gues.......

update:

So the FX is in my shop and me and my buddy's are building her up currently. Lot of things to keep in mind but we are getting there slowly. Little setback on the tranny side. I had ordered the upgraded Level10 tranny oil pump and it seemed to be the wrong one the company told me who installed all the parts here. Called Level10 and emailed them all the specs.......got the new one a week later........Same one...!!
So we overhauled the stock one and i kept my own. The guys at the shop were even doubting if the level10 pump was that different from stock anyways.
Did get the bigger oil pan and of course the internals, TC ( edge racing) and VB ( Level10). They cleaned eveything up and painted it so all new and ready to go.
Currently working on the wire tuk cause i want to finish that up before putting the motor in off course. On one pictures you see the spaghetti behind the engine a while ago. Now we have all lined them up together and my buddy came up with a great plan to not keep all the wires behind the motor.
What we did is all the wires wich got to long because we put them behin the motor, we forwarded trough the oem harnes towards the area where the rainwhiper motor is located. We bounded them together and sealed it. That we it is out of the engine bay....looks clean and doesn't have any issues with heat.

The rest of the car is almost done, got the a pillars back and they look great in the new suede jackets :smile (2):

Before i put back the interior, i used sort of Dynamat to dampen the doors, trunck, roof and several other areas. This to keep the heat and noise outside.
I always found our car a bit noisy at the back and the doors. Several members have done this already so when reading there posts i decided to tackle this also.

I also had some heat shield lying around wich i did not have any use for. So thought might as well do the tunnel in the engine bay as well. Won't hert at least :wink (2):

Update:

Sooooo It's in....!! Finally we put the engine in the car yesterday. Still need to do a ton of work but were again one step further in the build. Stumbled against an issue with the lower oem sway bar. The new tranny pan wich is way deeper then the oem one as you all have seen in prior pics hit this sway bar. We decided to take one of the 2 bars out as i have several summit braces there and there wasn't really any other solution then changing the pan back out for my oem one.....and that really wasn't an option. The taped markers indicate where you would need to cut the bar......i just took it out completly. That is if someone tells me i cannot do this period for any reason :wink (2):
Have the pathfinder tube at the rear of the block and also discovered that the tranny filling pipe connects to this water hose. Need to adres this either as i cannot mount it to the pathfinder pipe.
Before we put the engine in me and my buddy fitted all the accesoiry in the engine bay. So we have all the brackets and holes ready to go as cleanrance at the sides of the engine is still narrow IMO. Ok the Z has even less but it is not that you have a ton of room there.
In the picture you can see from left to right: - Power Steering Reservoir > Oil Catch Tank > Billit Fuel Filter ( needs 45 degree connectors in stead of straight) > AAM Fuel Press Regulator > Okada Plasma Lift > Vacuum Distribution Block.

Picture is quit dark but in reality the color of both the car and engine really pop out very well. So very happy with the result i must say.
Now back to work, keep you all posted :smile (2):
