onthemove MOD's

Was able to retain fog lights by cutting and adding bead to pipe rather than adding pipe.
Supercharger 22.jpg Removed some pipe. Brammo fx35 vortech 1.jpg Added some pipe. Still, very nice.

Other than removing pipe, had to chop the shock tower a bit. Supercharger 1.jpg Supercharger 3.jpg

Very little modification but a good bit of foresight.

Previous naturally aspirated runs were with very little fuel and nothing extra that added weight.

This one run was with a 1/2 tank of gas, a 120lb lady and other junk adding right around 200 lbs.
Vortech V3 Sci, 2.87 pulley, light weight STOCK SIZE crank pulley, all other existing mod's in tact and a very conservative tune done remotely by Admin. Tuning.

I let off at 1110' and coasted to 1320. Sketchy deal so just 1 run. Tires break traction slightly off the line and break loose from 1st to 2nd. Not sure if the front(s) are braking loose to but the smell of burned rubber is detected.

44*, 33% humidity, 30.37 barometric press., 101.91 air density, density altitude -545. No change. No adjustment.

Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines 13.204 @ 105.066 MPH

Remove the added weight, don't let off until after the 1/4 is completed and figure out why it's still getting somewhere between a 2.0 -2.2 second 60' time and I believe this might be in the 12.7-12.8 second FX. Could go with a more aggressive tune as well. Gonna try to get out to Coastal Plains Dragway sometime soon to shoot for this time.
Now, something needs to brake so I have a reason to get the engine and trans built to shoot for 10's.

Been busy after relocating from a city to the country.
Nearly off-grid. Working on alt. energy now.
Head gaskets are not fun to replace, especially when the engine is still in the bay.
Head gasket went prior to supercharger.
Nissan blows.
Should have some real 1/4 mile times this/next month.

Nope. Same tinny little wheels. New rubber tho. Just a smidge smaller than the last ones. Same weight & slightly smaller diameter. Continentals do not last very long.
Breach in #5 cylinder.
Got 10 second bone stock block 350z's, so oem should hold up fine. Who knows what the original engine builders or gasket makers did.
Would build engine & trans, but too much going on for the forseeable future.

You finally went FI

I rebuilt this a month ago. Getting ready to go to the drag strip when I caught this. Seal failure on the vortech. Why not? It's been a whole 7k miles maybe? Like I don't have better things to do. Noticed too much red oil in air filter when I removed it while replacing the head gaskets and thought oh shit, I guess I used too much k&n oil last time I cleaned it. Nope. Supercharger oil is also red. Internal leak and ran down the pipe and soaked the filter. Unbelievable.

Had to chop up the oil slinger to get the high speed shaft out. Bought a small version from 928 motorsports.

It's all about getting this hot and that cold rather than trying to press it all back together. Rebuild companies don't wanna give warranties or take any responsibility for their work, so f them. Gotta press off the impeller, so I bought a small press.
