That turbo placement is curious. It's so much more work to mount them like that, you have to literally clear everything. And the chances of melting something are so much higher this way. The only reason to mount them that high is purely cosmetic. What's the point of having big turbos if no one can see them right? There are already so many twin turbo manifolds that can support 850whp, redesigning the wheel seems sort of weird.

That's exactly what others have said about Level10. No one could ever prove that they did actually use upgraded clutch packs on some of their less common applications. ie, on Nissan Maximas which have a very small following, their "Bulletproof Kit" was just an OEM equivalent rebuild w/ a shift kit. A couple of tranny shops (competitors in fairness) disassembled them and found nothing had been upgraded internally, just the torque convertor and valve body. That was because no one actually made the upgraded part they could use, Level10 just claimed they had upgraded clutch packs. The FX may be different since the tranny is much more common and lots of people upgrade it. But I would never buy anything from Level10 simply because of their history.
I think they get away with it because most people don't make enough power to test their claims. Or if they do, they swap out for a manual. By upgrading the valve body and getting a transmission cooler, 90% of people will be fine even with lots of power. It won't last forever, but it'll work. For instance, on my old car I put 350whp through the stock auto w/ nothing more than a VB upgrade and tranny cooler. Stock it was 150whp. So even w/ 200whp more, the stock tranny didn't blow up with dozens of 1/4 mile passes and dyno runs. Did it slip sometimes, of course, but it survived. So most people who get the Level10 are in a similar situation. Level10 simply rebuilds the tranny and it's strong enough for the power levels they run. Since the tranny survives, no one questions whether Level10 actually did what they were supposed to. FWIW, most OEM stuff is overbuilt enough that it can see extreme duty for short periods of time. So I wouldn't be surprised if a stock transmission w/ VB upgrade survived upwards of 500whp for short periods of time. My friend had a drag Supra that he had to use OEM pistons on at 900+whp for a little while. Sure he had to swap them out every 3-4 runs, but they did hold up temporarily. Same w/ Level10.

Concerning the tranny......i got level10's so called "Bullit Proof"internal kit as well. A transmission specialist installed them here in the netherlands, took a look at it and said it was just a overhaul kit with no extra friction material or such. And from what i know they don't offer more then that as well.
It is not that we want it to go wrong if i may speak for others here following this topic. It is just that many companies often claim in theory so much.....but in reality they often cannot keep there word.......as more have already see.......we'll see.....fingers crossed.

Same thing, you paid for the Level10 tranny from them. He bought the Bulletproof kit and had his tranny shop install. In the end, it's the exact same parts that are going in.
Jumbos tranny was not fully build,my tranny is fully build,
