how do you like a sound of 850whp fx35

Any particular reason why they choose to make the intake themselves as there are "ready-to-go" dual throttle boddy intake manifolds for the VQ35DE out there for sale...?? For example Speed Force Racing has one.

Yes I talke to the shop and ask that ,but they sed that its less money to get custom from them.

It will be a 4.3L stoked VQ35.
92mm crank w/ forged rods
CP 100mm 8.8:1 pistons
Darton sleeves
ARP mains and head studs (L19)
Cosworth MLS gaskets
JWT cams w/ springs
Ferrea oversized exh valves

1000cc injectos
Fever Racing fuel rails
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
Fever Racing fuel return
Dual fuel pump system

Osiris ROM with our own tuning
Greedy 4-core intercooler
Then all the piping will be made by us and fabbed in house.
We are also making our own 3" dual exhaust system from turbo outlet to muffler.....

To hold the power to the ground we sent the AWD trans to Level 10 where they worked their magic. We have used them for many builds and they do great things over there.

We will have quiet mufflers with open dumps under the car, that way the car will be very refined.

The customer just asked me to build racing brakes and coilovers for it also. This is something that even I would love to drive.

Haha, "Ummm honey, would you mind go out there and clear the road so I can take my 800 WHP AWD FX35 grocery getter for some grocery for us. I will there in 10 second" :wink (2): Love it! :smile (2):

Good progress!

Hey.Is any body know were i can get good price on set off big brakes and rotors. My shop offerd me set off brakes for $3000 but its way too much i want to spend. But i need to have big set to able to stop this monstor.

Well, if you need to be able to stop, then I wouldn't skimp out on brakes. Not too much lower than that and still good quality. I guess you could do the FX50 OEM Akebonos.

$3000 for a BBK is pretty good price. Even with the FX50 OE retrofit into your FX, you won't see much saving as you will need to replace the rear knuckle.

Agreed that $3k for a BBK setup is pretty cheap. Won't find it much lower than that honestly. Is that price for front and back or just front?

Just when I read every page of this thread, getting better and better with every page turned. Just to find out I'm left wondering happened next? This thread has been dead for months..project dead?

Opening up an engine and doing custom work goes far deeper the proverbial can of worms. If you don't have a topnotch shop, a bottomless checkbook and the patience of Job stick with bolt ons :)......

Still in to see what this build produces.

Finally some updates on FB...
