Cool. Then you should be fine with the specs of the tires I posted earlier and have no rubbing issues either.
 
Hey Doc, I was thinking. I don't know if this would look dumb or have a certain function. But what if I get bigger tires in the back and a bit smaller in the front? This way my front will look even lower. What do you think?
 
You mean 285/45/18 for the front and 285/55/18 for the rear? it should be ok as long as its not a huge difference. You can also go wider in the rear. like 275's for the front and 285's for the rear.

I was thinking of painting the rims a dark brown. How do you think that would look on my FX?

285/55/18 - Back
275/45/18 - Front

Is that right?
 
You could have different size tires and get away with it but I would recommend just going with one spec. Stick to the 285/55/18. Since the wheels are not a staggered set-up there is really no need to use different size tires.

For those specs, tire rack comes up with these tires.

All good tires. I have the yok advan ST on my nismo's.

I would just leave the silver color as it is cause it gives contrast. I'm not a fan of color matching. Black would be better if you really wanted a different color.

Ok Pierce, 285/55/18's it is. Your right, would look funny because they are not staggered.

I have Yokohamas on my 22's. I really like them.

Well the wheels are black, but my brother accidentally dropped one on it's face so it got scraped a little. So I want to repaint them. Kind of a small project to do. Do some sanding, some primer and then some Krylon? lol. Well then I'll leave them black or paint them like a dark charcoal color. I already have silver, so black or dark charcoal it is.

In July. Check the track date thread its listed there for the whole year. Btw...no paintball for you? I guess your going to the stillen meet.

oh, ok cool. I'll go check. As long as it's not the first weekeind of July I'll be fine. I'll be in Vegas. lol. No paintball for me, I'm an easy target. lol. I have been wanting to check out the Stillen meet. Might go with my brother and cousin.

But we will see.
 
Carlos if you go to the Stillen meet take pics since the rest of the fellas are going to be shooting at one another. Hell that might be a funny sight to see. hopefully no one will wear short sleeves, or tank tops. No short Berto, and Will.

Well I hope every body has a blast this week end. My self and John are hitting the freakmont BBQ representing for North Cal Scene FXer's.
