FX Rear toe and camber kits.

Just got back from Santa Fe NM. Here's the camber bolt in place. Set to max positive.

Here are the other 6 bolts that were machined. Victor, pm me your address so I can send you a set. Want you to get them installed on and do an alignment.

Depends, get an alignment done. If they can not get your rear camber and or toe in spec these bolts allow for more adjustments.

I've heard they are awesome. Do plenty of race and drift set ups which are tricky and very particular. I'm going down to Wheel Warehouse next week before my Seattle trip.

Just curious.... how strong are these bolts? Are they reliable enough to hold the weight of the FX? I would hate to see someone getting hurt from one of these snapping....

Whats up Rookie?!?! Heard there was another site you had been posting on but never had a chance to check it out until today. Looks good.

Anyway, I ordered a set of the H&R springs to finally lower my FX but I'm worried about a couple things. The first is whether I may need one of these camber kits and the longer bolts and the other is whether I will be rubbing? I have the 22" Black Ordens which I believe has a +18 offset. I was running the Pirelli 285/35/22 but due to a bent tie rod or two and possibly some other parts which I don't know yet since I haven't gotten my FX into the shop, I may need to replace either the front two tires or all four!

The reason I say all four is because since I bought these tires back in May for about $260/each, they now tell me that they will run me $355/each to replace!!!! For that price I am considering a couple of options. The Toyo Proxes for all four installed are on sale at another local tire place for $1090 installed. Or if I still want the Pirelli's I can get a better price for either the 265/35/22 ($200/each I believe) or the 305/35/22 ($260 each) size! Doesn't make sense, but it is what it is. I don't remember is the Ordens are 9" or 9.5" wide, so I don't know if the 305/35/22 will fit and I know they are even shorter than the 285 size I currently have. Can you tell me the width?

If I am going to lower, would I be better off just buying 4 of the 265/35/22 Pirelli's anyway so I don't have to worry about rubbing or will I be okay with the 285/35/22? I would rather keep the wider tires.

Sorry about the long post, just wanting to get some help and answers. Good to see all your useful info again. Might be needing those bolts if I need to get my camber to spec.

Sorry for the delay.

Your Ordens are 22x9 +15
Yes you can lower it, 265/40-22 or 265/35-22 would be ideal. 285/35-22 are about as wide as you should go on that width, any wider than 265 or 275 and lowering would probably require some wheel well trimming.

Contact patch is controlled mostly by the wheel width, the contact patch of a 9" wheel will not change much between 265 and 285, the thing that changes is the sidewall bulge.

You shouldn't need any camber or toe kits with the H&R but I do have some bolts if needed.

Viet do you still have any sets avaliable? I had an Alignment done while at LMS and they asked if there was a camber kit for us and I remember you were doin some work on this on this thread. They said the rear was off. Lemme know bro

Did they give you a print out? Would like to see how far out you are that they couldn't get it back into spec.

No Print out Viet, I can call them on Monday and see if I can get it. I do have a print out from June when I first lowered it.

these available? I can't do a before and after - we get charged $150/alignment out east...if I have the hardware available, I can have the tech put them in on the rack if we need them. lowered on H&R's.

hey Viet. Good to see a nice site over here...more my style. :)

I don't know if I'm out of spec in the rear, but, if I am, it's easier to put the bolts in on the rack, otherwise we get charged 2x $150. <ouch> If you have a limited number, I'd be happy to send them back if not needed
