what do you think i could live with it, or should i change my head light to hid 6000k 2??
i just order for my fog lights H8 6000k Hyper White,, you guys think it will match my oem head lights?? thank you..![]()
so what do you think, that you have them in your fog lights?? they wont match 100% with the OEM headlight or maybe close? or would it look nice?? is just that i ordered it 6000k thank you...
Hey Sobi, thanks for the writeup.... I just finished doing mine today.. Took about 1.5 hours being very careful and slow.. It looks so much better; I guess I'll have to get 6K headlights to match. Any recommendations on the brand? Thank you very much!!
I installed DDM tuning 6000K D2S bulbs and HID into my 2010 FX35 headlights and fog last weekend. Everything went very smooth, I am happy with the lights output and color match. It took me about an hour to do the fog light as I removed about 10 (10mm) bolts and 6 clips at the bottom front of the SUV and drop the plastic cover and slide my hand up to reach the fog light housing from the bottom, and unplug the OEM connector and bulb and screw in the H8 HID bulb, plug the HID kit into the OEM harness, used double sided tape to secure the ballast to the bumper... I just want to share my experience as this is another way to change the fog light into HID without remove a lot of body modding at all....
i'm about to purcahse the ddm hid set to do up my fogs. just to clarify, do i have to buy the dual in dual out hid harness? will i be ok with just the basic set?
Hi. What brand do you guys recommend? Anything just plug and play?
Thanks FireOnic03.
I cannot tell this is slim ballast. We would need it to install without removing front bumper.
Do we need any other harness or two male connector for H8 as the Sobi6111 posted? Thanks.
