I was hoping someone would do DIY before me,as I was a little t scared to do fogs on my car without DIY guide :.smile:
Well I was the first one to do it and I will share how I did it with you guys.

Ok guys.I finished installing my HID H8 6000k fogs on 2010 infiniti FX35 today.
I made a DIY guide and link is above,so you can install your fogs by yourself easier with my guide.

Good news : No need to remove bumper at all =)
I found way to do HID without removing the bumper. Yes if you want you can remove bumper, but it is not necessary at all in my DIY

I did my installation very slowly and took 3-4 hours to do. First side took 3 hours ,as many work and first time doing on new gen FX35 and also I was taking pictures to create DIY. Other side was 1 hour :winky: as repeat process is easy :.smile:

What's the size of the .pdf? Let me know so I can make some changes...

I used high def pictures. And it came out to be 6 mb file. Big file :-)

Won't let me post it. But DIY guide came out amazing, easy to follow. I took my time to make it nice.

Nice write up but there has to be an easier way to change a light bulb. For my 1st Gen, I went under the bumper to install HIDs. Hopefully, it can be this easy for the 2nd Gen.

what hid do you have on your headlight 6000k or OEM?? i was planing on going for the 6000k fog lights but im scared they would look more bright than OEM what do you think?

My guide is the easiest way to do. There is no way from under you reach fog bulbs, they mounted it very firm. Only other way to do is remove bumper ;-)

I have OEM right now on picture. I will do 6000k in a week or so and post write-up. Buy same brand of bulbs and will be perfect match. I will get 6000k low/high beams D2s and it will match perfectly HID fogs

Very nice! That sure is alot more difficult than the 1st gen though. I did it the same way, but much less stuff to remove, and more room to work inside.

sweet guide :)

when you are doing the hid fog, i'm just wondering if you try pushing the vents on the side? I want to remove the vents myself to get it painted but i dunt know how hard it will be to remove. Look like the vents can be access with the molding off.

Maybe. I never paid attention to it. But i am sure you will have an access to it and you can just push vents out.
