They looks nice. Much more blueish tint then OEm headlights. But it looks ncie at night. i put 6000k to headlights to match fog lights, but still had difference. So due to light output i put stock OEM color back to headlights, and it looks great with 6000k fogs. OEM headlights + 6000k fog lights = looks nice and no light output loss :-)

Hey Sobi, thanks for the writeup.... I just finished doing mine today.. Took about 1.5 hours being very careful and slow.. It looks so much better; I guess I'll have to get 6K headlights to match. Any recommendations on the brand? Thank you very much!!

I decided to keep my OEM,as Philips weren't bright enough :-(

I installed DDM tuning 6000K D2S bulbs and HID into my 2010 FX35 headlights and fog last weekend. Everything went very smooth, I am happy with the lights output and color match. It took me about an hour to do the fog light as I removed about 10 (10mm) bolts and 6 clips at the bottom front of the SUV and drop the plastic cover and slide my hand up to reach the fog light housing from the bottom, and unplug the OEM connector and bulb and screw in the H8 HID bulb, plug the HID kit into the OEM harness, used double sided tape to secure the ballast to the bumper... I just want to share my experience as this is another way to change the fog light into HID without remove a lot of body modding at all....

Can you take pics of what bolts exactly to remove and clips? Easy to reach to mount ballasts?

i'm about to purcahse the ddm hid set to do up my fogs. just to clarify, do i have to buy the dual in dual out hid harness? will i be ok with just the basic set?

Just so the basic set. There is no need for an HID harness on our 2nd gen's:tup:

Thanks FireOnic03.
I cannot tell this is slim ballast. We would need it to install without removing front bumper.

Do we need any other harness or two male connector for H8 as the Sobi6111 posted? Thanks.

The one's I posted are the slim ballast one's.

There is no need for any other harness to install the HID kit. Everything you'll need comes with the DDM Tuning HID kit brotha:tup:
