Bubbling Dash Warranty Extension (96 months / Unlimited miles)

Just a couple months last summer made mine start to bubble. Now my shifter is messed up, my door rattles, and the center plastics aren't fitted back on right. But hey, those couple of bubbles aren't there anymore. :rolleyes:

Literally just got off the phone with Infinity Consumer Affairs, they gave me a case number, and directed me to the local dealership. They said I wouldn't need anything in writing (visa vie, a letter from them), and that the case number should be enough. We'll see...

Not as bad as some, but enough to keep my girl from driving it. Still haven't decided if that's a bad thing!!

Hey guys...

Just dropped off my FX35...and decided to snap a few shots of how bad my dash was. I live in Houston and our summer are pretty hot.

:eek::eek:

That is, by far, the worst dash I have ever seen. I had just a few small bubbles pop up on the dashes of the two FXs I have owned.

Can you guys stop showing that picture. It makes me just a little sick to my stomach.

+1. That is gross.

Anyways I spotted a couple of bubbles today and the dealer agreed to replace it. The bubbles are very tiny but I didn't want to wait and let it become like ^. I'm also OCD when it comes to car stuff so I wanted it replaced ASAP.

It doesn't show that well in the picture but I can definitely feel it when i run my fingers across the dash.

Well just set up an appointment for Tuesday to replace my dash, I think it's gonna be weird not seeing the bubbles anymore. Lol

2005 FX35 RWD, 35k miles.

Took my car in to Miller Infiniti for a 1 inch melting mark near the windshield. They replaced it with no hassle. The replacement dash was in stock and took them about a day to do it after appointment was made. I was given a loaner car, just had to pay for gas. The only problem I had was they didn't clean my car afterwards, forgot to reset the SES light, and fully connect the harness for my heated seats. It was annoying going back and forth, but issues were resolved. No other problems that I know of.... Dash color is slightly off, but they say it will blend in eventually after it's been in the sun.

Taking mine in on Wed. It's amazing how quickly the bubbles spread once they start. I only noticed the first one about 4 months ago. Now there's dozens of them, all small, but it's noticibly worse each week. Called the dealer, they didn't even ask any questions. Just told me that it was fully covered under warranty, bring it in, it would take a day or so.

How about the infiniti front seat cracking issue? The dashboard on our FX35 was bubling and was replaced. The new one looks great. It's now the premature cracking front seats that make the interior look bad.

i had two bubbles before summer started theres at least like 15-20 bubbles now in the middle of summer ffs, i gotta bring it in :( does the replacement take a whole day or just a few hours ? and does anyone know if i could squeeze a loner car out of them ? :D i know what Acura dealerships put you in the one of the newer TL or a TL-S even if its for a one hour job :p

Bubbles are starting to show up on mines as well. Not sure if it has something to do with these HOT Temps in Chicago 103 yesterday
