Bubbling Dash Warranty Extension (96 months / Unlimited miles)

my dash is been cranking and cranking more everyday .. i need to take to the dealer asap. fml.

Take it in. Mine bubbled like crazy this past August. Went from no bubbles up top to infinite bubbles in one month.

BTW I think I am the only person that really didn't like the G37 loaner. I found it coarse (the motor sounded like poo poo lol). The handling was spot on, but engine competition to the smooth I6 in the E9X series, I think not:tdown: Come on Nissan...time for a new design, the old motor is maxed out to the point of being unluxury like.
 
Do you guys know what the averaged time is for this fix? I'm heading into the 2nd day.

It'll take a couple days. Took me awhile, and it didn't help that they had technicians not in. I dropped it off on Friday around 2 pm and picked it up Wednesday at 5 pm. I had other work done though at the same time.

wrd. i think im go buy southwest infiniti friday since its my day off
 
I have a 2004 with the "tan" interior. Had two smallish bubbles. Took it to the dealer and they did not hesitate to tell me it was warrantied and to schedule a time to replace it. One day and back... Big thumbs up to Mission Viejo Infiniti out here in California.

Ok, so a lot of us are getting our dashes replaced. As we get our FX's back with our new dashes, what are you guys putting on it to make it look good and help preserve/protect it? I have not put anything on mine yet.
 
I suggest getting a clear ceramic type tint for the windshield. I know 3M also make something called Nano something. My wife just got her car tinted and paid an extra $150 for the windshield. It blocks more UV and allot of heat from coming through.

Cool, thanks for the info. What do you spray on your dash?
 
I did this within a week of getting my dash redone. Blocks out 99% of UV rays. I think I paid about $120 for that. Definitely a good idea to do! :tup:

Hey Guys, I was reading this thread looking for a solution for my Bubbling Dashboard
Today i went to Nissan workshop here in Qatar asking them about this extended warranty :wink (2): , they received my car and told me within 2 days it will be ready with the new dashboard. :smile (2)::tup:

Does anyone have a problem with the dash where the passenger air bag is? I have an indention somewhat like the shape of a rectangle (assuming its the airbag)? I don't know if it was due to the heat or when the cabin filter was changed and the guy did something wrong? It was there before I bought the car.

Yes my friend i had like that in my old dashboard, but now there is nothing with the new one.
i don't know in the future if it'll get same indention :confused.:

sorrry man. i forgot on what they said i was so pissed that my dash didnt get replaced :mad.:
 
Had mine replaced last week at Sewell in Dallas. I only had one bubble on my '07, but it was enough to annoy me. Service advisor agreed to replacement immediately without giving me any grief. Had it back the next day with new dash installed.

Was it replaced do to the airbag indention or because you had bubbles elsewhere on the dash? Second, if you don't mind me asking, was the airbag indention do to the heat or accidental airbag trigger?
