The Random Question Thread

It worked. I also removed the auto show pictures, so not sure if it was related to that or something you changed. :) Also, if you need help with the other issues when you get to them, just let me know.

How many humans would it take to kill a lion bare handed? (hypothetical question).

Considering how quickly a lion could disable a human, and the fact that humans have virtually no natural weapons, I would think at least 10. 3 to keep it busy for a few seconds, 5 to jump on it and hold it down, one to gouge its eyes, and one to strangle it to death.

And when you say 10, you mean 10 of these:

must be a struggle getting through doorways...

On a side note, if your intelligent cruise control is blocked can you not have a normal cruise control? During the recent snow episode we had in Chicago I was driving that night, and the slush was on the little box in front and froze over and wouldn't allow me to set a cruising speed. Just kept flashing. So I assume if that sensor is blocked, you cannot use your cruise control at all?

Or, the CC will not activate when the windshield wipers are on. It's a safety restriction so you don't use it in rainy weather. Regular CC should work when ICC is blocked.

theyre not as strong as they look (not to mention slow) steroids and other enhaners.....

is there a way to turn off my dvd player? seems like everytime i drive the dvd screen would be on even if its closed.

Are all VK45DE engine covers interchangeable from all Gen1 Years of the FX, 03-10 M45 and whichever years of the Q45 had the VK series?

If not, which ones are?

No, 03-05 share same engine cover. 06-08 are different. I doubt mounting points are same, also throttle body is in front of the engine and not the rear.

I have no idea on M45/Q45 compatibility.

Does anyone know if the fx45 sway bars are thicker/bigger than 35? or same size?

Just got this engine fault code: P0441 INFINITI - Evaporative Control System Incorrect Purge Flow

Any idea what it could be? Or explain this in layman's terms what a possible solution is?

P0441 INFINITI

P0441 INFINITI - Evaporative Control System Incorrect Purge Flow

Symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Possible a noticeable fuel odor caused by the release of fuel vapors
Possible Causes
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve stuck closed
- EVAP control system pressure sensor and the circuit
- Loose, disconnected or improper connection of rubber tube
- Blocked rubber tube
- Cracked EVAP canister
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve circuit
- Accelerator pedal position sensor
- Blocked purge port
- EVAP canister vent control valve

When is the code detected?
EVAP control system does not operate properly, EVAP control system has a leak between intake manifold and EVAP control system pressure sensor.
P0441 INFINITI Description
In this evaporative emission (EVAP) control system, purge flow occurs during non-closed throttle conditions. Purge volume is related to air intake volume. Under normal purge conditions (non-closed throttle), the EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve is open to admit purge flow. Purge flow exposes the EVAP control system pressure sensor to intake manifold vacuum.
