Maybe so. The fuel pump side was fighting me pretty bad but I was to slip it at the end. I wasn't able to pull that pump out of car. But I was able to get it out of the car enough to clean it.
I just filled up and it when to full. Which is normal. Seems you guys all had issues that it never read full, while my issues is it never reads empty anymore. Before or after me cleaning.
I'll play with it when I'm down to to E again.

I had the exact same problem before. AS Andy said the floater is not fully resting at the bottom of the tank, because of the black tube. All you need to take the pump out and reattach/reroute the black tube at fuel pump bottom.
Yep, you need to unplug the tube and then twist it the way its suppose to be. I ended up win no gas because of that one day.

Didn't know there were "winter" and "summer" blend of gas in IL.
Seriously, there is winter and summer gas blend in IL?
That's not normal. I would check to make sure the floater is float freely and not impeded by the wire when is it being drop back into the tank.
