Ray's Boost

coming along. I like all the blue.
What kind of numbers are you hoping for?

Due to my tranny as well and the experiance Bradd has had i gues my goal would lie somewhere around his final numbers as well.
I hope to come between the 400-450 RWHP. The engine has been build in overkill, so that shouldn't be a reliability factor.
The only diffrence that i have is a bigger tranny pan....the oil pump upgrade was a No No after receiving twice the wrong one......

Being able to say i have 500+ Hp at the cranck will do it for me i gues :wink (2):

06+ rear lights to match the overal look i'm going for.
Have to say did like the red on that grey very well either but with the black accents everywhere i wanted to go a bit darker.
Almost done.....got an appoiment with the tuner who gonna map the car on april 15'th so the end is in sight.

Picture of the final.front setup. Engine oilcooler down left. Tranny oilcooler behind the grille. Blacked out intercooler and headlights. Headlights bezels in the color of the car and.turbocads white side reflectors. And a custom towhook with a connection behind the licenceplate. Diff is done hopefully tommorow so i can close up the bottom.....driveshaft and exhaust.
Also got.all the hks camp2 sensor kit and Almost all.installed along with a blitz throttle controller.

Yeah i was kinda hoping it would be that. Thanks....at least i know it is not too important and can start without expecting issues from it. Any chance one of you has a partnumber of it ??

Update:

So it ran.......with the captital R. Unfortunatly stumbled onto some minor issues on what was wrong, but a hell of a lot work to solve it.
All gaskets, bearing etc....are new in this build but unfortunatly the new rear mean seal died on me. This is a well know issue i found out after a quick surch and has happened a lot with build motors.
I put it on the motor myself so cannot blame anyone.....i probably did not lube it enough ( not that much of a lube guy anyways, just a quick spit always works just fine :wink (2): )
and also a seal between the lower half of the motor and the motor itself leaked a bit.
I wasn't really in the position with time and location to do this myself and after several months of evening labour i was a bit wrench tired as well, so i called some friends of mine who happen to be located in the same street with a tuning company.
They are working on it for 4 days now, tranny of, subframe down, lower engine half out......man o man i do really hope it is closed now cause i also read some guys had to do this 3 times over....!! :eek.:

Another issue wich i had was that the engine ran less on 1 or 2 cylinders. On also some valves ran dry. Luckely i build this motor together with a guy who ownes a 350Z wich he build a greddy twin turbo engine for together with me. He had the same issues so was kind of a trouble shooter for me.
P00300 code says camwheel error. He says it's all in the oil. In general people suggest to take a half synthethic oil for break in, but these engine just do not like half.......they really need full right away.
Now the oil does not reach everywhere cause it is to thick and after the first 30-40 miles the oil becomes more dirty due all the parts that had to break in as well.
The top nock sensors are also oil lubed and therefor give this error as well.

They should finish up the engine today or tommorow and put in the new oil as well. Really hope that solves the problem cause the rest is all good and perfect so far. No leaks no nothing ( knock on wood ).

If all is well i should bring the FX to the tuner next week. Unfortunalty i do not have a photobucket or youtube account so i can load up vids. Don't know if there is a way to do it direct like i do with pictures....( Mod...??)

Here some pics of the current mess i got from my friends :eek.:

P.s: Thanks logan for your comment

Looking real good Ray. Now I saw Ray's new rear diff with finned cooler cover and I wonder if it would add anything other then the look to our cars.

The difference from what i know compared to my RWD version was that it has a 3.5 final gearing ( wich FX AWD version already have) in stead of my 3.3 so a bit shorter gears.
It also has LSD but i put the Quaife LSD in it anyway so was kind of useless in the end for me. And it has those cooling fins on both the cover ( wich you can buy seperatly ) but also the housing itself so it would at least cool better.
