What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Finally got around to doing the steering rack adjustment and it took all of 10 minutes to do. This was by far the easiest repair to the FX I have ever done. It took about half a turn in untill lightly snug then I backed the adjuster screw out about an eighth of a turn. Just went for a test drive and no more shimmy at all.

Fix my exhaust leak today, now it doesn't sound like a turbo is spoiling up when i turn off my car.:tup:
 
Changed the oil (Royal Purple)and filter, replaced the belts. "Tried" :confused.:to tint my tails and head lights. Will post a update on that on my thread.:mad.:
 
Spring Cleaning Day:
- Clean mats
- Vacuum carpeting
- Apply leather cleaner and conditioner
- Clay and wax exterior
- Apply Wheel Wax on wheels
Tada...

Thanks guys. Yeah, pretty busy day yesterday.
We Chicago guys should meet up soon. The hanging thing on the second to the pic is the GTSpec Mid Chassis brace.
Yeah, the brick on love black really stands out isn't it. I love it too.

^^ Yea this weekend would have been a good weekend to meet! Just seeing all the other meets happening on IS gets me jealous. We need to step our game up. If anyone has ideas of when/where let us know. If people are feelin crazy now we could get a tailgate type of meet...wouldn't mind some grilling too!

I'm totally up for meeting in Chicago....someone start a thread on it....maybe a vote can be done on what weekend because I have some busy weekends coming up, but really really really really want to meet some of you guys and I go to chicago about once every month anyway so I would hate to miss out just because it was a weekend I couldn't.

I guess it would be on the time if on Sunday.

I am off every Friday so I come in Friday morning and typically leave Sunday mid afternoon like noon but could stay a little longer if the meet was earlier and had to be Sunday. Friday night or Sat anytime would be best for me.

Mmmmmmm I miss Allende in lincoln park! ;)
