I wouldn't recommend it if you don't work on your own bike. But PMG, if you can work on a car, a bike is a breeze!
I wouldn't mind doing the little cleanings and adjustments... But I don't know how to put a bike together and tune it.. Which means I would need to bring it to a shop.. Not too sure how that conversation with he bike guys would go re a copy bike.

What does the extended rim do exactly? I don't know how else to describe it but the extra part before the spokes.
