Any Bike Riders Out There?

I got clip-in pedals yesterday for the road bike. It was wierd at first getting clipped in but I loved riding with them. My acceleration is ridiculous now, and I had no issues getting up to 26ish mph on flat ground. I'm wondering if my speedo is off though because I felt like I was going a lot faster comparing to like driving a car I guess.

Pedals are Shimano 105 SPD and shoes are what the $100 dollar SPD SL shoes is haha, can't remember model number off the top of my head.

Also got my DH bike finally fixed completely. 63.5* HA now, and I loved how it felt riding around. So easy to swing out the rear when it's loose and keep going straight.

Clipless pedals are a must on the road. Good call there. I couldn't ride without them at this point.

It's different, but I like it. The good thing is, the hardest part for me is getting my first foot in. Basically as long as I'm moving I have no problem clipping and un-clipping. It's kinda weird feeling my foot move around though with that little bit of play they have.

It's an odd sensation at first, but you'll quickly get used to it.

I suggest practicing clipping in and out on grass. It's much less painful than pavement!

I finally figured out how to post a pic. Here is my road bike. Its a Chinarello and rides pretty darn well and matches my FX. I'll have to clean up my Turner to take a pic.

Found some pics of my turner. Unfortunately, this baby haven't seen dirt in a year. I feel so sad.

Probably just a Chinese made carbon bike. There's lots of them that copy other models. Some people actually put the real stickers on them so they look real.

Lol Stu. It's a medium. It has a TI spring on it now. The best and sexiest DH bike I've ever ridden.

The Chinarello is a replica Pinarello. It's suppose to ccome out of the same mould as the real one and suppose to ride very similar. There was a group buy on RBR a while back and I jumped on it and took the risk. I can't compare it to a real one cause I've never ridden a real one. But so far it is very very good frommy limited knowledge.

It didn't come without any issues though. Small stuff like the internal cable routing holes has excess paint and glue and you have to clean it. The cable that run at the bottom of the bottom bracket for the front derailleur was painted over. I had to carefully use a small nail and hammer to try to openf find I and open up again.

If you don't mind little stuff that needs to be worked on, then you should be fine. But also use a "reputable" China company. Otherwise, what you get might be scary. Pm me if you want to know where I bought it from.

I wouldn't mind doing the little cleanings and adjustments... But I don't know how to put a bike together and tune it.. Which means I would need to bring it to a shop.. Not too sure how that conversation with he bike guys would go re a copy bike.
