how do you keep that front part connecting to the airbox where the K&N sticker is so glossy? i really need to clean my engine bay...

It was painted awhile back as was the engine cover, windshield wiper water cap, coolant container, battery and brake covers, oil dip stick handle, etc...

Coolant container... painted DG? What did you use for that paint?

Yea, I had it painted DG. The same shop as with the other painted parts, autoexplosion.

Doc or Rookie - do you happen to know what size allen I need to tighten the bar? I need to goto Sears cuz my Allen set doesnt have one that big. Lemme know please.

I believe its a 5/16 Will.

Will, it's 3/8 or 9mm for the large allen on the bar and 5/16 or 8mm for the smaller allen on the bracket.

Small correction Fellas - Its a 10 for the Allen on the crossbar & 8 on the Allens on the Brace part.

Hmm...really? I could of sworn I used the 3/8 and 5/16. Could be the metric conversion is off lol.
