What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Which wheels are those? What size?

Wheels are Niche Circuit. They were black with machined face, but clear was peeling, small amount of curb rash and rock chips. I threw them in the blasting booth and blasted them with glass beads, then painted them silver. Fronts are 20x8.5+35 and rears are 20x10.5+35 and mounted with 25mm spacers all around.

Welp, took the FX to the Nissan dealer and had them do an oil/filter change. Used Mobil1 Full Synthetic, and Mobil 1 oil filter. Now I have a slight ticking sound coming from the engine bay, and I very much dislike it....

Deleted the back box and had straight through pipes fitted. As has been observed in other threads this isn't totally successful. It's quite loud but ok,pretty good at a cruise in fact. It's a bit boomy up through the gears from a standstill. Most of all though I'm not sure if it's a very nice noise,it doesn't quite have the burble I was after.
Anyway I'll give it a few weeks....

Getting started on minor maintenance on my 1st gen. This is just the begining o_O

Oil Change and tire rotation today, and tightened 24mm steering rack tension bolt.
Noticed left front half shaft boot had a small tear on inboard side - ordered a new one.

1/8 increments or is there a specify torque you use?

Just snug it up by feel. If you get it to tight you will feel it at the steering.
I set it so there is some resistance to steering wheel returning to center while driving.
Forgot to mention it works best if you have both front wheels jacked up.

I am pretty sure I had bought some at Canadian Tire but it was a while ago and the bottle was black. Same thing it was for headlight restoration and I used it on my dad's mustang.

I believe there is a similar product sold by Mothers. Go to your auto parts store. They should have something like this.

Got my 22s with some new tires. Pretty happy with the outcome, just debating if I should throw on the 15mm spacers I have on the rears to poke out a bit more. I gotta say they look much better in person. In the pictures the plastic molding kills it. Wheels are 22x 10.5 all around on HR springs b9b1e337fa2ec7374c72ebc4117f745c.jpg80e37d1aec369d4178f8ea5f9fa201b7.jpge8ff8b0bae31086b4af92c54f09a8ebe.jpg35a51a7291fb05a6666a2ea8a17ab6bf.jpg
