WTF car of the day...

Part 1
Hey, guys I needed to share this with you. Last Friday my buildings 3 story under ground garage collapsed.No one was hurt but several hundred cars were buried my baby being one of them. This major devastation happened in Hackensack NJ. I took pictures of the event as it happened from my terrace which made all the major networks and newspapers.
As previously posted I got a Black 2008 fx 35 at the end May with only 22,000mi. on her.
I searched the net for fx owners and found you guys and as a result I got Big A to tint the windows,dropped in a k&n filter and installed a Z-tube . I wiped her down everyday and started her up just to listen to her purr, Now I feel like the finest girl at the party(in the garage) just died.
I'm writing this note from my bed at Holiday Inn because we were evacuated from our home due to concerns about the structural integrity of the building and may not be able to home for 6 to 8 weeks or when they think it's safe
to return.

Part 2
This morning I went to the dealer to see about getting another fx but I didn't feel connected to any thing I saw. I'm unsure about my next move concerning a car the insurance co. totaled the car and now driving a 300 cry rental. (what to do,what to do?)
Any way I felt like sharing after my 3 Long Island Ice Tea. Not much else to do at this hour.
I sure miss her.

Well firstfx35 glad that your ok and not hurt. So what's going to happen to your FX? Is it totaled? If it is are you planning on getting a new fx? Once again sorry for what happened to your FC

I am sorry to hear this... I live Fort Lee, NJ and I heard about this story all over the news. I might have seen your FX around since we live close. You're safe so that's a good thing. I hope everything works out well and good luck to you !
 
least your safe... heard there was one person that was trapped... i see a lawsuit coming and possibly a brand new FX for you at no expense:wink (2):
 
firstfx,

cars can be replaced but lives cant. We are glad you are safe and happy to have you here on the scene. Take your time car shopping and im sure you will be able to find a FX to your liking in no time :wink:. Even if you venture on a different route for another car, we will still be happy to have you!
 
fx brakes mounted in the opposite direction


i assume most only sqeak in reverse(mine does)


that is a stupid looking benz though-my opinion

its not that...look at the shape of the lights, fenders, etc. it's an alero with a chopped back lmao
